ODI cricket started about 54 years ago. The first international match was played on 5 January 1971. Since then, many batsmen have dominated this format till date. 1- AB de Villiers

Former South African batsman AB de Villiers holds a record for scoring the fastest century in ODIs. He scored a century in just 31 balls against the West Indies in 2015.

2- Corey Anderson

Former New Zealand all -rounder Corey Anderson is named second in this record list. Anderson scored a century in just 36 balls against the West Indies in 2014. Anderson now plays international cricket for USA.

3- Shahid Afridi

Former Pakistan all -rounder and captain Shahid Afridi scored a century in just 37 balls against Sri Lanka in 1996. Then everyone was surprised to see this innings of Afridi. For years, Shahid Afridi’s record of scoring the fastest century in ODIs was named. However, now he is at number three in this record list.

4- Glenn Maxwell

Australian all -rounder Glenn Maxwell is at number four in this record list. Maxwell scored a century in just 40 balls against the Netherlands in the 2023 ODI World Cup.

5- Asif Khan

Asif Khan of UAE is also named in this record list. Asif scored a century in 41 balls against Nepal in 2023 itself.

6- Mark Boucher

Former South African wicketkeeper batsman Mark Boucher is at number six in this record list. Boucher surprised everyone and hit a century in 44 balls against Zimbabwe in 2006.

7- Brian Lara

Brian Lara, one of the best batsmen in the history of West Indies cricket, is at number seven in this record list. Lara scored a century in 45 balls against Bangladesh in 1999.

8- Shahid Afridi

Shahid Afridi, who was a power hitter of Pakistan, comes twice in the list of 10 batsmen who set the fastest century. He is at number three as well as number eighth. In 2005, Afridi scored a century in just 45 balls against India.

9- Jessie Rider

Rider like former New Zealand explosive opener has scored a century in 46 balls. He did this feat against the West Indies in 2014.

10- Jose Butler

Jose Butler, one of the power hitters of England, is at number 10 in this record list. Butler scored a century in just 46 balls against Pakistan in 2015.
