Adivi Shesh’s film ‘Dacait’ has been in the news since its announcement. This film was scheduled to be released in December this year but due to the injury of the lead actor, the shooting and release date had to be postponed. Now this film will be released in the month of March next year. With this, Adivi Shesh is going to have a direct fight with Yash’s Pan India film ‘Toxic’.

The ‘Dacait’ star told that he has made his mark in the film industry by becoming an underdog and now it has become his habit. Let us tell you that Mrinal Thakur is also going to be seen in this film along with Adivi Shesh. Not only this, Prakash Raj and Anurag Kashyap will also be seen in lead roles in the film. Along with Hindi, this film will also be released in Telugu.

‘The audience is waiting for Yash’s film…’
In a special conversation with Hindustan Times, ‘Dacait’ lead actor Adivi Shesh expressed his opinion about the competition of his film with Yash. He believes that the task against ‘Toxic’ is not easy. Adivi Shesh said- ‘Audiences have been waiting for Yash’s film for a long time because through this film, Yash is going to return to the big screen after 4 years.’ Along with this, he also talked about remaining an underdog in the industry.

‘If the story of the film is good then he himself…’
Taking his point forward during the interview, Adivi Shesh said- ‘This clash is only for the media. I remember Lagaan and Gadar were released on the same day and both are classic films. My own film Major’s clash with Akshay Kumar’s Samrat Prithviraj happened, yet my film performed well. If the story of the film is good then the audience automatically loves it.

‘Now my film is in front of Yash’s Toxic…’
Talking about the underdog fight, the actor said- ‘When Yash’s film KGF Chapter 1 was released, Shahrukh Khan’s film Zero performed well in theatres. Despite being an underdog, KGF Chapter 1 changed the definition of film making. Similarly, now my film is also an underdog in front of Yash’s Toxic. Let us tell you that along with Yash, stars like Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi and Nayanthara will also be seen in ‘Toxic’.

Why did the makers not change the release date?
Both Adivi Shesh’s ‘Dacait’ and Yash’s film ‘Toxic’ are going to be released on the same day. These films will hit the theaters on March 19 next year. Regarding the same release date, Adivi Shesh said that the makers believed that this film could take advantage of the Ugadi holiday. People celebrate Ugadi as Telugu New Year just as Gudi Padwa is celebrated as Marathi New Year in Maharashtra. Besides, Eid is also a festival of celebration. Therefore, the makers have finalized the release date on March 19 only.

Fans are eagerly waiting for Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal’s film Love and War. Ever since the announcement of this film, fans have been waiting for its release. This film was earlier scheduled to release on the occasion of Eid 2026 but now the makers have decided to postpone it. Recently, the release date of Yash’s Toxic has been confirmed, after which the makers have thought of this change.

The release date of Yash’s Toxic has been revealed. This film is going to be released in March 2026. Sanjay Leela Bhansali was earlier planning to release Love and War in March 2026 but now according to reports he will push the release.

There will be no clash between the two films
According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, a source said- This is a hidden blessing, because the clash of two Pan India films on the same date did not make any sense. Love and War is running far behind its shooting schedule, and will now be released in the second half of 2026. Approximately 75 days of shooting are still left, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali has requested Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal to give them dates till summer 2026 to complete the film.

Sources have said that the film is running 40 days behind its schedule. Because of which it may be released in June 2026. He said that Ranbir and SLB will soon decide on the new release date and make an official announcement about the delay.

Toxic will be released on this day

Talking about Yash’s film Toxic, it is going to be released in theaters on 19 March 2026. Toxic is going to be released on Eid week i.e. next year’s Eid will be in the name of Yash.
