US President Donald Trump has claimed to have killed the leader of Venezuelan criminal gang ‘Tren de Aragua’. He said that the US Army killed the alleged leader of ‘Tren de Aragua’ in a military operation conducted in collaboration with Venezuela.

Trump said in a post on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’, “At my direction, US Southern Command conducted a swift and deadly attack, killing Nino Guerrero, the notorious leader of Tren de Aragua. Tren de Aragua is one of the most feared terrorist organizations.”

He wrote in the post, “Before I took office again, Joe Biden had opened our southern border to millions of illegal criminals and gave this foreign gang free rein to commit heinous crimes like rape and murder of American citizens. During my election campaign, I promised that I would drive these monsters out of our country and bring justice to the families whose loved ones they murdered.”

Trump also criticized the policies of former President Joe Biden. “Early in my tenure, I kept my promise to declare Tren de Aragua a terrorist organization, deport thousands of dangerous criminals, and wage war on the gangs that have long been waging a war against our citizens while weak leaders have left America helpless and on the defensive,” he wrote in the post.

Venezuela no longer safe for terrorists: Trump
President Trump also said that this action was taken in collaboration with our friends in Venezuela, with whom we are doing very good work. There is no safe haven left for the terrorists of Tren de Aragua, in Venezuela or anywhere else. The President wrote in the post, “Under my leadership, we will hunt down these brutal murderers and drug lords anytime, anywhere and send them to the hell they deserve.”

Let us tell you that Tren de Aragua was started in Venezuela and it has increased its presence in many Latin American countries. US officials have linked this group to drug trafficking, human trafficking, extortion, kidnapping and other organized criminal activities.
