A comment has come from BJP on the bulldozer action at the office of TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee in Amtala, Kolkata, West Bengal. On one hand, BJP MP Sukant Majumdar has given a statement, while on the other hand, West Bengal State President Samik Bhattacharya has given a statement.

On one hand, while reacting to the bulldozer action on Abhishek Banerjee’s office, Union Minister and BJP MP Sukant Majumdar has said that if it was an illegal construction, then it should be demolished. No illegal structure should remain standing.

He said that only legal constructions should remain. Whenever TMC was in power in the government, Abhishek Banerjee considered himself a prince. So he did whatever he wanted. He built an office. There was no proper plan. The ownership of the land itself is disputed.

Apart from Sukant Majumdar, BJP President Samik Bhattacharya said that the government is demolishing illegal constructions. The government has taken these decisions only after examining all the documents. If someone feels that something wrong has happened, they can go to court.

Bulldozer action on Abhishek Banerjee’s office
In fact, on Saturday, Shubhendu government ran a bulldozer on the office of Mamata Banerjee’s nephew and Lok Sabha MP Abhishek Banerjee. The police started demolishing Abhishek Banerjee’s office, allegedly calling it illegal. This office was located at Amtala and Baruipur Road in Amtala in South 24 Parganas.

According to the information, bulldozers reached this office in the morning. He started being demolished. The administration had issued a notice to Banerjee’s office a few days ago. It was declared illegal. The administration says that this building was built without permission. A large number of police were deployed. Top officials also reached the spot.
