US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday (18 June 2025) that he is in touch with Iran, but now it is too late to talk. He said, “Now there is a lot of difference in the situation of one week ago. Nobody knows that I will do. My patience is over. Iran had proposed to come to the White House for talks.” Trump said that Iran does not have air defense to protect itself.

Trump told Khamenei- Good luck

US President Trump said, “Iran has been ruined. If his supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei does not surrender, he was good luck.” Trump’s statement comes at a time when Khamenei has warned the US to send his army to help Israel.

Trump warned Iran to surrender unconditionally and said that America knows where Khamenei is hidden, but we will not attack them right now. After Trump’s warning, Khamenei said, “America should know that Iran will not surrender. If the US Army attacks any kind, they will have to face serious consequences.”

Israeli’s attack on Iran continues

After Khamenei’s address to the nation, Israel attacked several places in Tehran, one of which was the whereabouts of Ayatullah Ali Khamenei. IDF destroyed the Iranian internal security agency headquarters. The Israeli Army said that public safety guidelines have made school closure and other restrictions mandatory. The Israeli army said that these changes will be effective till 8 pm on June 20.
