US President Donald Trump was once again seen showing his attitude on the case of tariff. Trump said on Tuesday (September 2) that America is very powerful and without it nothing will be left in the world. He also reacted to the tariff imposed on India after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to China. Trump said that whatever was being made by India was sending it to America, but due to 100 percent tariff we were not able to send anything to India.

Addressing a press conference from the oval office, Trump said, “We were not trading much with India, but they have been trading with us, because we were not taking any tariff from them, it was foolish. It was foolish. Was whatever items he made, he sent it to the US market. It remained a lot in America and we were not sending anything.

Nothing will be left without America – Trump

Tariff has played an important role in trade. ‘ Trump justified the tariff imposed on all countries including India. He said that tariff will help save American jobs.

Why the ruckus about tariff

The US had first imposed 25 percent tariff on India, but increased it by 25 percent. In this way, a total of 50 percent tariff was imposed on India. Trump had said that India should not buy oil from Russia, but India did not make any changes in its business relations with Russia. For this reason, Trump put additional tariffs on India.
