TS Inter 1st 2nd Year Results 2026 : The result which was awaited for a long time among lakhs of students of Telangana is now over. Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has officially released the result of Intermediate 1st and 2nd Year Exam 2026. This year around 10 lakh students had participated in the examination, hence the board has decided that the result should reach every student easily.

How was the result?

This time a total of 9.97 lakh students took the first and second year examinations which were held from 25 February to 18 March 2026 at 1495 examination centers across the state. A total of 4,89,123 students appeared for the examination in the first year, out of which 3,23,807 passed and the overall pass percentage was 66.20 percent. In the second year, 5,07,948 students took the exam and 3,58,490 passed, resulting in an overall pass rate of 70.58 percent. The special thing is that the pass percentage of second year regular general stream was 75.61 percent, which is the best performance in the last five years.

How was the Inter 1st and 2nd year result group wise?

If we look at the group-wise results, the MPC (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) group performed the best. It was the top group with a pass rate of 75.51 percent in the first year and 78.01 percent in the second year. BPC (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) also remained in a good position with first year pass rate being 72.39 and second year being 76.04 percent. But the condition of the students of CEC (Commerce) group was worrying, only 44.90 percent passed in the first year and 49.39 percent passed in the second year. The worst situation was of HEC group where only 34.34 percent students passed in the first year.

Who won in Telangana Inter Result 2026?

The biggest thing in this time’s results is that girls have left boys far behind. While the pass percentage of girls in the first year was 74.40 percent, the boys got stuck at only 57.69 percent, i.e. a difference of about 17 percent. The picture was the same in the second year also where girls achieved 78.65 percent pass rate while boys achieved 62.50 percent.

When were the exams held?

Telangana Intermediate examinations were conducted between February and March. In which the 1st year examination was held from 25 February to 17 March 2026. Whereas the 2nd year examination was held from 26 February to 18 March 2026. Now after the examination is over, the wait of the students is over and the result has been released. The marks memo that will be received after checking the result contains many important information, like name of the student, hall ticket number, subject wise marks, practical marks, total marks, grade and pass or fail status.

3. Now enter your hall ticket number.

4. After entering the number, click on Submit.
