Foreign ministers of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Pakistan, Indonesia and Türkiye participated in this meeting. All the leaders discussed creating an International Peace Force in Gaza. The meeting took place in Istanbul, the purpose of which was to strengthen joint efforts of Muslim countries to bring lasting peace in Gaza.

In the meeting, monitoring of the ceasefire, security of humanitarian aid and the structure of the international force in Gaza were discussed in detail. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said, “Negotiations are ongoing on the proposed international force for Gaza. This force is not yet fully formed and a final decision has not been taken on its responsibilities.” He said that this initiative is in the initial stage, but all the countries have promised cooperation to bring stability in Gaza. Some countries have also shown readiness to send peacekeepers to Gaza so that the situation in the area can become normal after the ceasefire.
