After the post mortem report of the death of model Twisha Sharma in Bhopal came out, many important things have come to light. The report of AIIMS Bhopal has confirmed that Twisha died due to hanging. According to the report, he died at around 8 pm on May 12. Besides, injury marks have also been found on his hand. The report has also revealed that Twisha had an abortion about a week before her death.

What came out in the post mortem report

According to the post mortem report of AIIMS Bhopal, Twisha died due to “ante mortem hanging” i.e. hanging while alive. Doctors found a ligature mark running upwards on the neck, which is usually seen in cases of hanging.

The report said that marks of pressure and bleeding were found in the internal muscles of the neck. However, the hyoid bone and neck bones were found safe. According to doctors, no signs of any major struggle or fatal attack were found on the body.

However, slight injuries and scratch marks have been found on some parts of the body including hands. Police are now trying to find out how these injuries occurred.

Swelling in the lungs and bleeding in the eyes

The report also revealed that Twisha had swelling and congestion in both her lungs. Traces of small bleeding i.e. petechial hemorrhage were also found in the eyes. According to medical experts, such signs are often found in cases of hanging. Doctors also clarified that there were no signs of any serious sexual assault or injury by weapon on the body.

Waiting for FSL and DNA test

To fully reveal the truth of the case, doctors have preserved viscera, blood and other samples. These have been sent for FSL investigation. The investigation will find out whether Twisha had taken any kind of intoxicant or poisonous substance before her death or not.

Apart from this, samples have also been preserved for DNA testing. Police say that after the FSL report comes, many more things can become clear in the investigation.
