United Commercial Bank (UCO Bank), one of the major banking institutions of the country, has started the recruitment process for apprentice posts. Through this recruitment drive, the bank will select a total of 532 apprentice posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the bank uco.bank.in.

The last date for online application has been fixed as October 30, 2025. Candidates are advised to complete the application on time so that the application process is not disrupted due to any technical problem or delay.

The bank has released the details of different posts for all the states and union territories. For example, Uttar Pradesh has the maximum number of 86 posts, New Delhi has 42 posts, West Bengal has 532 posts and Tamil Nadu has 5 posts. In other states, the number of posts has been decided as per the need of the state and the branches of the bank.

skills required

To apply for apprentice posts, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. This degree can be in any subject. Apart from this, the age of the candidate should be minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years. Reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per rules.

selection process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of online examination and other criteria. The exam will be objective type and there will be a total of 100 questions, each question will carry 1 mark. The duration of the examination has been fixed at 60 minutes. The test subjects are: General and Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude.

This much application fee will have to be paid

The application fee has been determined according to the category of the candidates. Fee for SC/ST candidates is nil. Disabled (PwD) candidates will have to pay Rs 400 + GST, while General, OBC and EWS candidates will have to pay Rs 800 + GST.

Fill all personal and educational details correctly in the application form. Upload photo and signature. Deposit the application fee as per your category. After submitting the form, take a print out of it and keep it.
