Famous Bollywood playback singer Udit Narayan is once again in controversy regarding his personal life. His first wife Ranjana Narayan Jha has filed an application in Supaul Mahila Police Station on Tuesday (February 10, 2026) making serious allegations against Udit Narayan, his two brothers and his second wife. In the complaint, he has alleged marital fraud, mental and physical harassment and conspiracy.

Ranjana Jha says that she was married to Udit Narayan on 7 December 1984 according to traditional customs. After some time of marriage, Udit Narayan went to Mumbai in connection with his career, after which the distance between the two kept increasing. According to Ranjana, she got information about Udit Narayan’s second marriage through the media, when she raised questions about it, she was not given any clear answer.

In the complaint, Ranjana Jha has mentioned an incident of 1996 and alleged that she was taken to a big hospital in Delhi on the pretext of treatment, where her uterus was removed without her knowledge and consent. He claims that he came to know about this surgery later during another medical consultation. Describing it as a well-planned conspiracy, he said that this incident had a deep impact on his life.

No response from Udit Narayan or family

61-year-old Ranjana Jha also said that she is currently facing health issues and financial difficulties. She alleges that despite getting assurances for years, she did not get any concrete help, after which she again lodged a complaint in the women’s police station. At present, no official response has come from Udit Narayan or his family in this matter.
