UGC NET exam is considered a very important exam for millions of students across the country. The agency has released the UGC NET December 2025 City Intimation Slip. Through this slip, candidates get information about in which city their examination will be conducted. What is City Intimation Slip?

City Intimation Slip is a preliminary information document. This is not an admit card. In this, only the name of the city where the candidate’s examination will be held is mentioned. It does not include information about the complete address of the examination centre, roll number, date and time of the examination and reporting time. All this information will be given in the official admit card, which will be released a few days before the examination.

According to the information given under the National Examination Agency, the exam date is from 31 December 2025 to 7 January 2026, there will be a computer based examination (CBT) and a total of 3 hours will be given in a single session.

When will the admit card be released?

According to NTA, the admit card of UGC NET December 2025 will be released a few days before the exam date. But now you should carefully check the information given in the city intimation slip, in case of any mistake or problem, immediately contact NTA, you will not be allowed to enter the examination center without the admit card, carry a valid photo identity card along with the admit card, and it is strictly prohibited to carry mobile phones, smart watches, bags, books, notes and other electronic items into the examination hall.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the examination city information slip for the UGC NET June 2025 exam. With this slip, candidates will be able to know in which city their examination center is. The slip can be downloaded from the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. If you have applied for the UGC NET, it would be better to download it without delay, because on the basis of this, travel and other preparations can be planned.

When is UGC NET exam?

The UGC NET will be held between June 25 to June 29. This exam will be held in two shifts, the first shift will run from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will run from 3 pm to 6 pm. The examination will be taken for a total of 85 subjects. This exam is necessary for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), eligibility of Assistant Professor and PhD admission.

The real hall will be released 3 to 4 days before the ticket i.e. the admit card examination. In this, complete information about the candidate’s name, roll number, date of examination, time and place will be given. To sit in the examination, it will be necessary to take a printed copy of the admit card.
