‘Operation Sindoor’ and India accused
In his address, Sharif mentioned the ‘Operation Sindoor’ in May. He claimed that seven aircraft of India were damaged in this four -day struggle. While Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh has already said that India had killed five Pakistani fighter jets and a big aircraft in this campaign.

The campaign began after the Pahalgam terror attack on 7 May, in which 26 people were killed, most of which were tourists. In response to this, India targeted terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).

Appeal to give Trump to Nobel Peace Prize
Sharif, in his speech, praised US President Donald Trump and said that his ‘peace efforts helped stop the war in South Asia’. He said, “Pakistan has nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize in honor of President Trump’s amazing contribution in promoting peace.”

India has always said that the agreement to reduce tension between India and Pakistan was done through direct dialogue between the military officials of the two countries.

The issue of Indus Water Treaty and Kashmir
Sharif, referring to the decision of India to postpone the Indus Water Treaty after India’s Pahalgam attack, said, “Any violation of the Indus Treaty is a war action for us.” Raising the issue of Kashmir, he said that Pakistan stands with Kashmiris and ‘they should get the right to self -determination through a referendum under the supervision of the United Nations’.

Comment on Gaza crisis
Sharif also raised the issue of Gaza. He said that the plight of Palestinians is one of the ‘most heartbreaking tragedies’ of our time.
