An important meeting took place in Türkiye amid the ongoing tension in Gaza and the fragile ceasefire environment. Foreign ministers of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Pakistan, Indonesia and Türkiye participated in this meeting. All the leaders discussed creating an International Peace Force in Gaza. The meeting took place in Istanbul, the purpose of which was to strengthen joint efforts of Muslim countries to bring lasting peace in Gaza.

In the meeting, monitoring of the ceasefire, security of humanitarian aid and the structure of the international force in Gaza were discussed in detail. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said, “Negotiations are ongoing on the proposed international force for Gaza. This force is not yet fully formed and a final decision has not been taken on its responsibilities.” He said that this initiative is in the initial stage, but all the countries have promised cooperation to bring stability in Gaza. Some countries have also shown readiness to send peacekeepers to Gaza so that the situation in the area can become normal after the ceasefire.

There have been reports of ceasefire violations several times

Although the ceasefire is in force since October 10, there have been reports of its violations several times. The situation in Gaza is still extremely critical and the humanitarian crisis is continuously increasing. This unity of Muslim countries has come at a time when the debate regarding Gaza is intense across the world. Many countries are trying to establish peace through the United Nations or through regional cooperation. But many diplomatic challenges may arise regarding the formation and operation of this force. Israel has already made it clear that it will decide which country’s army will enter Gaza.

Bodies of three hostages found in Gaza

Meanwhile, Israel said that the Red Cross has found the bodies of three hostages in Gaza, who will soon be handed over to the Israeli army. Hamas said the bodies were found in a tunnel in southern Gaza. After the ceasefire that came into effect on October 10, bodies of 17 hostages have so far been returned, while 11 are still in Gaza. Israel has sought to speed up the process of identifying the bodies and claimed that some bodies are not those of hostages.

Israel attacked Qatar on 9 September, after which there was a wave of unity in Muslim countries. This is the first time after this attack that many Islamic countries have stood together to face this danger. For this reason, Muslim countries organized an emergency summit in Doha, the capital of Qatar, in which all Muslim -majority countries are joining.

In the conference, there is a serious discussion on the increasing aggression of Israel in the Middle East. After the attack on Qatar, the Egyptian also took a clear stand. Egypt said that if such an attack takes place on his country, he will also retaliate. According to intelligence sources from Egypt officials, the next goal of Israel may be Egypt, after which Egypt made it clear that any attack would be considered directly challenged and would be considered a declaration of war.

For Muslim countries Nato Like alliance

Egypt gave Muslim countries NATO (Answer Answer Atlantic Treaty Organization) is proposed to form a military alliance. Egypt suggests that Muslim countries should be united and made a joint military force, which can provide protection against the attack on any Muslim nation. Egypt considers the attack on Qatar as part of widespread aggression. Now the question arises whether this alliance of Muslim countries really Nato As can become impressive.

Iran and Iraq support to Egypt

Egypt’s proposal has also been supported by Iran and Iraq. However, there are many major challenges in front of this scheme. There are political and practical differences between Muslim countries. There is tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran on the issue of Shia-Sunni, while Türkiye and some Arab countries have disagreements about Muslim Brotherhood.

Is now Is NATO military alliance possible?

Türkiye wants it to play a major role in the coalition of Muslim countries, but Saudi Arabia considers himself to be the leader of Islamic countries. In addition, many Arab countries have close relations with the US. Experts believe that until all Muslim countries are united and will not follow a common strategy, till then Nato Such as the formation of a strong and impressive military alliance is not possible.
