Now the effect of polluted air is also visible on the health of the people living here. From children to the elderly, people here are facing problems like eye irritation and cough. These cities are now beginning to look like gas chambers. People here do not see any relief from pollution in the coming days.

Loni remains the most polluted area of ​​the state

According to the data of Central Pollution Control Board, even on Friday 5th December, Loni area of ​​Ghaziabad remained the most polluted area of ​​the state. Here the AQI has come down to 400 but the air is still very bad. The air quality index in Loni this morning was recorded at 381, while in Vasundhara it was 303 and in Indirapuram the AQI was 290.

Most pollution in these cities of UP

There is no respite from the level of air pollution in Noida also. Even today the AQI here remains between 280 to 380. Which is considered to be of bad to very bad category. Today AQI 367 was recorded in Noida Sector-125, while AQI in Sector-116 was 346 and Noida Sector-62 AQI was 286. AQI was 337 in Knowledge Park-5 of Greater Noida.

Talking about other cities of UP, Hapur had the most polluted air today. The AQI here was recorded at 350, while 321 was recorded in Baghpat, 287 in Pallavpuram of Meerut and 265 in Bulandshahr. The level of air pollution has increased in the capital Lucknow, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Gorakhpur. The air quality index here remains in the yellow zone.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in UP today, Wednesday 26 November, is dry in both the divisions of the state. But the effect of fog is visible in the morning and evening. Shallow to moderate fog may occur at some places. However, at present no rain alert has been issued anywhere.

Fog and cold wave increased the cold

Due to the cold winds coming from the mountains, there are continuous changes in the minimum temperature in the state. Due to which the nights have become very cold. Similar weather will prevail in the state till 30th November. There is no active weather system in the state these days. However, cold winds are blowing from the north-western direction. Due to which a decrease in minimum temperature is being seen.

No respite from pollution in Noida-Ghaziabad

Along with the cold, people are also troubled by the pollution in the air. The air in the big cities of the state has remained poisonous for almost a month. Water is being sprayed continuously to prevent pollution in Noida and Ghaziabad, but it does not seem to be having any significant effect. The pollution level in both the districts still remains between 350 to 400.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board, at 6.30 am on Wednesday, Sector-125 of Noida was the most polluted area, where AQI was recorded at 399, which is in the very poor category. Whereas AQI 372 has been recorded in Noida Sector-116, AQI 358 has been recorded in Greater Noida Knowledge Park-5.

The AQI was 378 in Loni, Ghaziabad, 316 in Indirapuram and 311 in Sanjay Nagar. 369 AQI was recorded in Hapur, 332 in Pallavapuram, Meerut and 276 in Bulandshahr. The air in Lalbagh area of ​​the capital Lucknow is also in poor category. AQI 249 has been recorded here. Which is considered bad grade air.

Now it has increased in Uttar Pradesh. This has further increased due to the cold wave that lasted for two days. It is now becoming quite cold in the morning and evening, while there is some relief due to sunshine during the day. As winter progresses, air pollution has increased. Pollution has reached severe category in many areas of the state. Even in Varanasi, pollution seems to be reaching dangerous levels.

This time in the second week of November, the urban area of ​​Varanasi is in the grip of severe pollution. There is fog around after morning and mid afternoon and evening. The Air Quality Index figures have also started scaring people. Health experts have advised asthma and respiratory patients to be extremely careful in such situations.

Air quality index reached near 350

According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the air quality index of Varanasi district was recorded at 348 on November 12, which is the highest as compared to the previous days. Earlier on November 10 and 11, the air quality index was recorded at 280 and 296 respectively.

AQI of most of the urban areas of Varanasi is being recorded above 300, while AQI of Bhelupur was recorded at 439. Certainly, these figures are enough to show how much pollution has increased in the urban area of ​​Varanasi at present.

Pollution in severe category in Noida-Ghaziabad

The districts adjacent to Delhi are also in bad condition. AQI was recorded above 400 in Noida and Ghaziabad today morning on 13th November. AQI was recorded at 424 in Sector-125 of Noida, 399 in Sector-116 and 389 in Sector-1. Whereas AQI was recorded 412 in Loni area of ​​Ghaziabad, 409 in Vasundhara, 351 in Sanjay Nagar.

Respiratory patients need to be cautious

According to health experts, due to pollution in the district at this time, not only the patients but also the common people need to be extremely cautious. Asthma and respiratory patients should avoid going out in such conditions. Everyone must use a good mask while going out in urban areas. In case of eye irritation or any physical problem, doctors should be consulted.
