Currently, there is a discussion in the politics of Uttar Pradesh about the meeting of Brahmin MLAs of BJP. Meanwhile, now former WFI President and BJP leader Brijbhushan Sharan Singh has also reacted on this matter. Former BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, on the question of the recent meeting of Brahmin leaders in UP, said that there is nothing wrong in it, if people of one community are sitting and talking among themselves then there is no problem in it. The BJP leader said that people of Kshatriya community had held a meeting a few days ago, no one should have any problem in this.

Whereas former MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh once again gave a statement regarding the 2029 Lok Sabha elections and said that if both of us, father and son, reach the Parliament after winning, then will anyone have any problem, both of us will contest the elections, what is the problem in this. The BJP leader said that anyone can contest elections but it is the public’s job to contest, if the public wants then it will be contested. Regarding the matter of contesting elections from Ayodhya, he said that we have no intention but one day I was listening to Atal ji’s speech, in which Atal ji was saying that I want to leave politics but politics does not want to leave me, so I am not leaving me like this, let the time come, you will also stay here, this time there will be a procession before the Lok Sabha elections and the public will take out a procession asking you to contest the elections from our place, from any Lok Sabha seat from anywhere.

The BJP leader said that the question raised by Rahul Gandhi that the government keeps an eye on his location is also baseless. Because he is a big leader of the opposition and if he sends these photos and videos, then everyone is aware of them to some extent or the other, it may also be from the security point of view. If we are sitting here, we too are under someone’s radar. In today’s era of social media and mobile phones, no one can say that he is safe from anyone.

The high command has taken cognizance of the meeting of Brahmin MLAs of BJP in Uttar Pradesh and has expressed strong displeasure over it. While giving advice, BJP State President Pankaj Chaudhary has instructed the leaders to stay away from such activities and said that they should stay away from negative politics otherwise action will be taken.

State President Pankaj Chaudhary clearly said that such activities do not match the thinking and working style of BJP. BJP does not do politics in the name of any family, class or caste.

BJP strict on meeting of Brahmin MLAs

The party has taken cognizance of the so-called special banquet organized by some public representatives during the recent assembly session and the discussion regarding a particular society in it. In this matter, discussions have been held with the concerned public representatives and they have been asked to remain alert.

The state president said in clear words that such activities send a wrong message to the society. If any public representative repeats such activity in future, disciplinary action will be taken at the party level.

Strict instructions given to BJP leaders

Chaudhary said that BJP is doing politics of development and nationalism, while the opposition is still entangled in caste based politics. He said that in the constantly changing political scenario of the state, the future of parties like SP, BSP and Congress, which do politics on the basis of caste identity, is bleak. Due to this, such parties are firing arrows in the dark against BJP.

Our public representatives work within the dignity and discipline of BJP. BJP’s public representatives should avoid such negative narratives. BJP has broadened the political consensus with its strong leadership. In the changing political situation in Uttar Pradesh, the parties doing caste politics are losing ground, that is why they are making statements against BJP.

Pankaj Chaudhary also said that all the public representatives of BJP should work within the decorum and discipline of the party and should avoid becoming a part of any negative narrative.
