Like every year, this time too the students of 10th and 12th UP Board are eagerly waiting for their results. The biggest question is whether this year also the result will come around April 20 or there may be a delay. If we see the trend of the last few years, then the probable date of the result can be estimated.

Result pattern of last 3 years

• 2025: UP Board result was released on 25 April.
• 2024: The result was declared around April 20.
• 2023: The result was released on 25 April.

It is clear from these figures that UP Board usually releases the results in the third or fourth week of April. Therefore, this year also students are expected to get their results around this time.

When was the exam this year?
In the year 2026, the UP Board examinations were conducted between 18 February and 12 March. The examinations were held in offline mode and were conducted in two shifts: morning and afternoon.
This time around 52 lakh students had registered, out of which around 49.4 lakh students appeared in the examination. Checking such a large number of copies is a big task, so it takes some time to prepare the result.

Why was there delay in copy checking?
This year, the work of copy checking started from March 18 and earlier the target was to complete it by April 1. But due to intervening holidays like Eid and Ram Navami, the pace of work slowed down.
Officials of many districts had also demanded extension of time. After this the board extended the last date of evaluation to 4 April 2026. Now all the centers have to complete copy checking by this date.

When can the result come?
The board has not yet announced the final date of the result, but if we look at the trend of previous years, the result is released within 15 to 20 days of the completion of copy checking.
If this time the investigation is completed by April 4, then it is estimated that the result can be released anytime between April 20 to April 25, 2026. That is, there is a high possibility of the result coming around April 20, but there can also be a slight delay.

How to check result?

1. First of all go to the official website of UP Board upresults.nic.in or upmsp.edu.in.
2. There click on the link “UP Board 10th Result 2026” or “12th Result 2026”.
3. Enter your Roll Number.
4. Click on Submit button.
5. Your result will appear on the screen.
