There is great news for the youth preparing for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. UPSSSC has released the notification of Fireman and Assembly Guard Recruitment 2026. Under this recruitment, candidates will be selected on a total of 170 posts. Only PET 2025 pass candidates will be able to apply. A total of 170 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. Out of these, 120 posts have been earmarked for assembly guards and 50 posts for firemen. The Commission has also implemented the system of reservation for different categories of candidates.

Who can apply?
To apply for this recruitment, the candidate must have passed 12th from a recognized board. Along with this, the candidate must have a valid score card of UPSSSC PET 2025.

What is the required age limit?
The minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age at 40 years. Reserved category candidates will get age relaxation as per government rules.

physical fitness
In recruitment, candidates will also have to pass a physical test. The height of male candidates belonging to General, OBC, EWS and SC category has been fixed at 168 cm and that of females has been fixed at 152 cm. Whereas for ST category males, the required height will be 160 cm and for females, the required height will be 147 cm. Chest measurement has also been prescribed for male candidates. Apart from this, the physical ability of the candidates will be tested through running and fitness test.

How will the selection process be?
Candidates will be selected in four stages. First of all, there will be a written examination in which questions related to General Knowledge, Computer and Uttar Pradesh General Knowledge will be asked. After this, physical efficiency test will be taken. Successful candidates will be called for document verification and medical test. The final selection of the candidates who are successful in all the stages will be done.

exam pattern
A total of 100 multiple choice questions will be asked in the written examination. The exam will be of 100 marks and 2 hours will be given to solve it. For every correct answer, 1 mark will be given while for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. Therefore candidates will have to solve the questions carefully.

How much is the application fee?
Candidates will have to pay application fee to apply. In this recruitment, the application fee for all categories of candidates has been kept at only Rs 25.
