The process of recruitment for 41,424 vacant posts of Home Guard is going on in all the districts of Uttar Pradesh. The last date to apply for this recruitment has been fixed as 17 December 2025. In such a situation, those candidates who have not yet applied for some reason, now have very little time left. The application window will close after tomorrow.

This recruitment is being done by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB). Interested candidates can apply online by visiting uppbpb.gov.in or upprpb.in website. The department has clearly said that no application will be accepted after the last date.

Only 10th pass candidates can apply

The most important thing about UP Home Guard Recruitment is that for this only 10th pass is required. That means, this is a golden opportunity for the youth who were till now away from government jobs due to less education. However, some important conditions have also been fixed. The candidate should be a resident of the same district from where he/she is applying.

Talking about age, the minimum age has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age has been fixed at 30 years. SC, ST and OBC category candidates will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per government rules. Age will be calculated from the date of commencement of registration for recruitment.

You will get additional benefits from these certificates

There are also some certificates in this recruitment, on the basis of which additional marks will be given to the candidates. If a candidate has NCC or Bharat Scout and Guide certificate, he will get an advantage of one to three marks.

Apart from this, candidates who have Aapda Mitra Training Certificate will be given three additional marks. At the same time, candidates having driving license of four wheeler will get one additional mark. The benefit of these marks can be availed while making merit.

How much application fee will have to be paid

The application fee for UP Home Guard recruitment has also been fixed. General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 400. Whereas for SC and ST category candidates the application fee has been kept at Rs 300. Application fee will be paid through online mode only.

To apply, first of all the candidate has to go to upprpb.in website. There you will have to click on the registration link and fill in your required information and do One Time Registration (OTR). After completion of registration, you will have to log in and fill the remaining information and complete the application form.

Apart from this, persons who have been dismissed before from the service of any municipal body or against whom any criminal case is registered will not be eligible for this recruitment.
