Under the plan to increase the pension of 1.06 crore destitute women in UP, the disabled, elderly people and destitute women are included in the scope of social pension. Let us tell you that before the year 2017, destitute women in Uttar Pradesh were given Rs 300 per month as disability pension and others were given Rs 500 per month. But after Yogi Adityanath became the Chief Minister, the pension amount was increased to Rs 1,000 per month. In the 2022 elections, BJP had announced in its manifesto to increase it to Rs 1500 per month.
