I want to tell about myself that from the beginning till now, I have taken pension only during the period when I have not been a member of any House. While being in the House, I have taken salary only from there. The question of taking pension does not arise during that period.”

‘Can’t take salary and pension together’

Upendra Kushwaha further said, “Obviously today I am a member of the Rajya Sabha. Hence, I am taking salary from the Rajya Sabha. I am not taking pension from the Assembly/Legislative Council. RJD had raised the question before Tej Pratap
