The wait for the Combined State/Superior Subordinate Services (PCS) Preliminary Examination 2025 conducted by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is now in its final stage. The examination was conducted on 12 October 2025 at various examination centers across the state, in which more than 6 lakh candidates participated. Now all the candidates are eagerly waiting for their result, which can be released any time.

According to media reports, the result will soon be released by the Commission on the official website of UPPSC uppsc.up.nic.in. Candidates will be able to check their result in online mode only. As soon as the result is released by the Commission, its link will be activated in the “What’s New” section of the website.

After the release of the result, candidates will have to check their roll number list carefully. Roll numbers of successful candidates will be released in PDF format. Along with this, the Commission will also release cutoff marks, so that it can be known what minimum marks were required for the main examination.

Result will be released in PDF format

The result will be released by the Commission in PDF format, in which the roll numbers of all the successful candidates will be recorded. Candidates are advised to check their roll number carefully after downloading the result and keep a printout of it for future reference.

Know the pattern of main exam

The candidates who will be successful in the preliminary examination will now have to start preparing for the main examination. This exam will be of descriptive type. The main examination will be of total 1500 marks and will consist of 8 papers.

Appointment will be done on 200 posts

Through this recruitment process the Commission will select a total of 200 posts. The candidates selected on these posts will be appointed in various departments of the state. These include prestigious posts like Sub-District Magistrate (SDM), Commercial Tax Officer, Block Development Officer, District Minority Welfare Officer.
