Akanksha Singh of Bhojpur has brought glory to her district and family by securing 301st rank in the Civil Services Examination 2025 of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Akanksha Singh is a resident of Khopira village of Pawana police station area of Arrah district and is the granddaughter of Brahmeshwar Mukhiya, the chief of Ranveer Sena.

Let us tell you that UPSC released the results of Civil Services Examination on March 6, in which Akanksha’s success became a topic of discussion. The special thing is that Akanksha told her inspiration to her grandfather Brahmeshwar Mukhiya, who was murdered in the year 2012.

‘Grandfather’s struggle became a source of inspiration’

After her success, Akanksha Singh said that since childhood she used to ask questions about her grandfather. She said that ever since she regained consciousness, she had been asking her family where her grandfather was, but she never got a straight answer. Later, when she grew up, she came to know that her grandfather remained in jail for a long time and kept struggling for the society. Akanksha said that due to her grandfather’s struggle, her family went back 10-20 years, but the same struggle became a source of inspiration for her. She said that even today she takes inspiration to move forward only by remembering her grandfather.

Gave credit for success to parents and family

Akanksha Singh gave credit for her achievement to her parents, family members and teachers. He told that to pass a difficult examination like UPSC, he studied for 10 to 12 hours daily. According to him, success in this examination is not achieved only by studies, but consistency, patience and self-confidence are also equally important. He said that instead of being afraid of failure, one should learn from it and move forward. Akanksha told that she was not successful in her first attempt, but she did not give up and prepared better by working on her weaknesses. The result of that is that he got this success in the second attempt itself.

Who was Brahmeshwar Mukhiya?

Actually, Akanksha Singh’s grandfather Brahmeshwar Mukhiya was a resident of Khopira village in Bhojpur district of Bihar and he is known as the founder of Ranveer Sena. Ranveer Sena was formed under his leadership in 1994 during the conflict between Naxalite organizations and big farmers in Bihar in the 1990s. This private army was considered important in the politics of caste conflict in Bihar at that time and it also had many encounters with Naxalite organizations. Due to these struggles, Brahmeshwar Mukhiya remained in jail for a long time. After being released from jail in 2011, he was shot dead in 2012. Now his granddaughter Akanksha Singh has created a new identity by achieving success in UPSC.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the result of Civil Services Examination 2025. This time too many inspirational stories have come to light. One of these names is Suraj Tiwari, resident of Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh. Suraj has once again surprised everyone by passing the UPSC exam. This time he has achieved All India Rank 943.

Suraj Tiwari’s story is not just about passing an exam, but it is an example of courage, hard work and strong intentions. He lost both his legs, one hand and three fingers of the other hand in a terrible train accident. Even after such a big accident, he did not give up and continued on the path of fulfilling his dreams.

The journey started from a small village of Mainpuri

Suraj Tiwari is a resident of Gharnajpur area of Kurawali tehsil of Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh. His childhood was spent in an ordinary family. His father worked as a tailor and ran a small shop in Kurawali to support the family.

Suraj did his early education from Maharishi Parshuram School of his own area. After this, he passed the 10th class examination from SBRL Inter College, Mainpuri in the year 2011. For further studies, he completed 12th from Sampurnanand Inter College, Bewar in the year 2014.
Train accident changed life

On January 24, 2017, Suraj Tiwari became the victim of a train accident in Dadri area of Ghaziabad. This accident was so serious that he lost both his legs, one hand and two fingers of the other hand. After the accident, Suraj had to stay in the hospital for several months. Even after returning home, he had to remain in bed for about three months. During this period, his entire family went through a very difficult period. Meanwhile his brother also passed away. These difficulties that came one after another would have broken any person, but instead of accepting defeat, Suraj decided to move forward.

Continued studies even in difficult circumstances

After the accident, Suraj gradually started taking control of his life again. In the year 2018, he came to Delhi and took admission in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Here he started studying BA. He completed his graduation in the year 2021. After this he also took admission in MA. During this time, he started preparing for UPSC Civil Services Examination. UPSC exam is considered one of the toughest exams in the country. But Suraj had decided that he would stay after passing this exam.

15 to 17 hours of hard work every day

Suraj Tiwari knew that there were more challenges before him. Despite this, he started preparations with full force. He used to study for about 15 to 17 hours every day. The special thing is that he did not take the help of any big coaching institute. He continued his preparation on the basis of his hard work and self-confidence. On the day of examination, Suraj reached the examination center in a wheelchair. Despite physical problems, he took the exam with full confidence.

Passed UPSC exam for the second time

Suraj Tiwari passed the UPSC Civil Services Examination for the first time in the year 2022. At that time he had achieved All India Rank 917.
UPSC Result 2025: The long wait for the results of India’s toughest examination is finally over. Union Public Service Commission has declared the final results of Civil Service Examination 2025. This year, a total of 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment to renowned services like IAS, IPS and IFS. In the meantime, let us know when these selected candidates will start receiving their salaries.

When will I get my salary?

Selected candidates do not receive their salary immediately after the declaration of the result. Their salary starts only when they join their respective training academies. After joining the academy, the trainee officer gets his first salary at the end of the first month of training. This salary is considered as stipend during the technical training period. This is because they are still undergoing probation and learning administrative responsibilities. Training usually starts a few months after the declaration of results, when the government completes the formal process of service allocation and appointment letters.

When will the training start?

After the final result is declared, the government starts the process of service allocation. This process decides whether a candidate will join IAS, IPS, IFS or other central services or not. This process usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks. After that the selected candidates get their joining letters. Along with this, training usually starts between August and September of the same year.

Basic pay during training

During their probation period, trainee officers get salary based on Level 10 pay scale of the 7th Pay Commission. Basic pay is ₹56,100 per month. This amount is the starting salary for those officers who join services like IAS, IPS and other Group A civil services.

In hand stipend during training

During their 2-year training period, officers receive a stipend after deductions for various facilities provided by the academy. Expenses like mess fees, hostel accommodation, uniform and training activities are deducted from the basic salary. These deductions are usually between ₹10000 to ₹20000 every month. After these deductions, training officers usually get an in-hand stipend of around ₹ 35,000 to ₹ 40,000 every month during their training.

UPSC Result 2025: UPSC 2025 result has been released. Aastha Jain’s story has proved that even the biggest dreams can be fulfilled with strong determination and continuous hard work. Aastha, who hails from a small town Kandhla in Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh, has achieved a major success by securing All India Rank 9 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025. His success has made not only his family but also the entire state proud.

IPS officer’s dream of becoming IAS

What makes Aastha Jain’s success even more special is that she was already serving the country as an Indian Police Service officer. In the last UPSC exam, he had secured All India Rank 131. Due to which he got a place in IPS. She was undergoing training at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad. Although starting her career in the police service, Aastha still wanted to become an Indian Administrative Service officer. To achieve that goal, he continued preparing for the exam even during his tight police training schedule.

Big jump in ranking in 1 year

It was not easy to balance the rigorous physical training of IPS and preparation for UPSC. Despite this, Aastha managed to continue studying and improve her strategy. Within just one year he improved his rank significantly. She rose from 131 to 9 and made it to the famous top 10 list of UPSC. This huge improvement reflects his discipline, focus and dedication towards his dream.

simple family background

Aastha Jain’s success story is also a story of dedication and family support. His father runs a small confectionery shop in Kandhla. She grew up in a very middle class home. Despite having less resources, his family has always supported his studies and dreams.

After completing her primary education in Shamli district, Aastha took higher education from Miranda House College of Delhi University. It is one of the most renowned colleges of India. His academic journey laid the foundation for his civil services preparation and helped him gain a good understanding of the subjects related to the UPSC exam.

Success without expensive coaching

One of the most inspiring things about Aastha Jain’s journey is that she did not trust expensive coaching institutes. Instead he focused on self-study, preparation in discipline and a well-planned strategy. His ability to reach the top 10 rank in the country without the support of big coaching centers shows that strong intentions and consistent efforts can sometimes matter more than expensive resources.
