Luvkesh, resident of Karnal, Haryana, has created history. By securing 488th rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination, he brought glory not only to his parents but also to his village. The story of Lavkesh, a resident of Munak village, will impress any contestant. He showed that no goal is impossible if the available resources are used properly and struggle is made a strength.

Let us tell you, Luvkesh comes from a very simple and poor family. Lavkesh’s father has a hole in his heart, yet he runs a small shop to fulfill his son’s dreams. Lavkesh’s mother often remains ill. Luvkesh’s story is full of struggles. The house where he lives has not even been plastered. The only means of running the house is father’s small shop, where sometimes Lavkesh himself and sometimes his sisters sit. Along with managing the shop, Lavkesh also used to study sitting there.

Missed three times but didn’t give up

Lavkesh has passed this exam in his fourth attempt. Before this, he had appeared in this examination thrice, but he was not selected all three times. Despite this, Luvkesh did not break down, he learned from his mistakes and worked harder every time. Lavkesh tells that he studied while sitting in his small room, he wrote his goal on the walls which were not plastered, wrote things related to his subject so that he could always see his goal.

taken on interest for studies

The financial condition of Lavkesh’s family was not good, so the father took a loan to educate his son and also supported the family through it. Lavkesh also took money from finance to get Civil Services paper but he never told his son to stop studying, he always kept pushing his son forward because he had faith in his son. Lavkesh’s mother says that she wanted her son to become an officer and he worked hard and his success paid off.

I am fond of writing poems

Luvkesh is fond of writing poetry. He says that if you are struggling then keep doing it, don’t stop, good things will definitely happen in your life. Lavkesh wants to become an IAS. His rank is 488, but he will still continue his studies and will try to become an IAS by giving the exam again.
