If you have applied for UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 and PWBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability), who took the help of Scribe during the exam, is an important news for you. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released an important information for such candidates who want to change the scribe. Information about this is given on the official website of the Commission upsc.gov.in.

For whom is this notice?

This notification is for those PWBD candidates who have opted to seek the help of Scribe – whether the Scribb has decided himself or has been made available by the Commission. If a candidate wants to change his scribe, then he will have to send requests to the Commission via email by 4 pm on 18 May 2025. Email ID is: usCSP-upsc@nic.in.

Strict adherence to the deadline

UPSC has made it clear that only those requests will be accepted which have been given before the scheduled time i.e. May 18 at 4 pm and sent to the correct email address. The requests sent late or sent to any other email ID will not be considered.

Also know exam schedule

UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam will be held on 25 May 2025. This exam will be in two shifts. Paper 1 will be of General Studies and Paper 2 CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test). Both paper will be objective and will serve as a screening tool for Mains exam.

Possible date of UPSC Mains

The possible date of main examination has been fixed on 22 August 2025. However, changes are possible, so all the candidates are advised to keep checking updates regularly on the UPSC website.
