This story is not just about passing an exam, but about the upbringing, patience and proper preparation that takes a child from an ordinary family to extraordinary success. Shivam Shivhare, resident of Nagar Panchayat Bahuwa of Fatehpur district of UP, passed the Indian Information Service (IIS) conducted by UPSC.

As soon as the news of Shivam’s success came out, a wave of happiness spread from the family to the entire area. He himself admits that if he had not received the right environment, understanding and encouragement at home since childhood, this journey would not have been so easy. The role of his mother Sushila Shivhare was most important in Shivam’s upbringing. Mother always gave priority to education, even if resources were limited. Shivam says that mother never said that the situation was difficult, but always taught that the way out is through hard work.

Shivam tells that his father Ramashankar Shivhare taught him the importance of discipline and responsibility. Working on time, not shying away from hard work and having faith in oneself became a part of his life. This was the reason that later on, even amidst the responsibilities of job and family, he did not deviate from his goal. His wife Dr. Vijay Lakshmi Shivhare and son Ojas also contribute to his success.

Where did you study from?

Shivam’s education started from Bahuva Inter College, Fatehpur, from where he passed high school. After this he did intermediate from Shivaji Inter College, Kanpur. During studies, parents never put pressure on marks, but instead focused on learning. This method is an important lesson for today’s parents to understand the interests and abilities of their children instead of comparing them with others.

He went to Indore for higher education and did B.Tech from a college there. Along with this, he also studied journalism and mass communication. Shivam tells that during this entire period of studies, his mother always kept boosting his morale and his father stood with him in every decision.

How to prepare?

Shivam joined Prasar Bharati in the year 2015. This preparation with the job was not easy. Shivam tells that if your time management is good then you can prepare for any exam. Reading a little every day, doing revision on holidays and continuously trying without stress were the biggest strengths of his preparation. After work, he continued his efforts towards his goal by studying regularly in limited time and achieved success.

Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC and its related examinations are counted among the toughest examinations in the country. To get success in these examinations, not only knowledge of books but also patience, continuous hard work and self-confidence are necessary. The story of Manvendra, resident of Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, proves this truth. Despite physical challenges, family sorrows and difficult circumstances, Manvendra not only performed well in his studies but also set an example by achieving success in the Indian Engineering Services (IES).

The beginning of Manvendra’s life was not easy. Since childhood, he had difficulty in walking and speaking. His mother Renu Singh says that in the initial days the doctors had also clearly said that Manvendra has many physical problems. Hearing this could have broken the morale of any family, but this did not happen in Manvendra’s house.

The family decided to recognize his strengths instead of focusing on his weaknesses. According to mother Renu, Manvendra understood things deeply from the beginning. His thinking was much more mature than his age. In such a situation, the family decided that physical limitations would not be allowed to come in the way and full attention would be given to his studies and mental development.

Talent started appearing in studies

With proper guidance, regular practice and family support, Manvendra’s talent gradually began to blossom. It became clear during his school days that he was very bright in studies. By the time he reached tenth class, his teachers also started believing that Manvendra could do something different.

Along with his 12th studies, Manvendra started preparing for JEE Advanced. This period was very challenging for him, but he did not give up. The result of his hard work was that he secured 63rd rank in JEE Advanced. This achievement was big in itself and it started being discussed in the entire area.

After this, Manvendra was selected in IIT Patna, from where he completed his B.Tech. It is not easy to study in an institute like IIT, but Manvendra proved himself here also.

Father’s death and mother’s support

A great sorrow came in Manvendra’s life when his father suddenly passed away. This incident shook the entire family. With father’s departure, responsibilities at home increased further, but mother Renu Singh did not lose courage. Renu Singh herself is a school principal and understands the power of education very well. He did not let his son weaken and supported him at every step. This trust of mother became the biggest strength for Manvendra.

Preparation for IES by staying at grandmother’s house

After completing his studies from IIT, Manvendra started preparing for the Indian Engineering Services Examination. For this, he chose to live at his grandmother’s house, where he could get a peaceful environment and full time for studies. Mother’s trust, family’s support and self-confidence – this became the foundation of his preparation.

hard work pays off

After a long struggle and hard work, the day came when the result of IES exam was declared. Manvendra secured 112th rank in this. This moment was a proud moment for him and his family. Today Manvendra is an IES officer and serving the country.

Every year lakhs of youth dream of becoming IAS or IPS after passing the UPSC...

Every year lakhs of youth dream of becoming IAS or IPS after passing the UPSC exam. But there are only a few among them who become an example for the coming generations with their courage and dedication. One such name is IPS Sanjukta Parashar, who is today known as “Iron Lady of Assam” throughout the country. Her story is not just that of an officer, but of a woman who turned every difficult path into her strength.

Sanjukta was born and brought up in Assam. Since childhood, she remained top in studies and always became the pride of her parents. He completed his early education in Assam and then graduated in Political Science from Indraprastha College, Delhi. From here the desire to understand the society and do something big grew deeper in his mind. After this he took admission in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi and obtained a post graduation degree in International Relations.

The journey was not easy

From here his life took a new turn. He started preparing for UPSC exam. This path was not easy; hard work day and night, fear of failure and expectations of the society had to be faced simultaneously. But Sanjukta never gave up. Finally in the year 2006, he passed the UPSC exam and achieved All India Rank 85. This was a big achievement, but the biggest thing was that he chose Indian Police Service (IPS) and not IAS.

When everyone wants to move towards a comfortable administrative job, Sanjukta chose the difficult path of law, crime and public safety. He chose Assam-Meghalaya cadre, that is, the same area where there was an atmosphere of terrorism, violence and unrest. But he never looked back.

face challenges

After becoming IPS, his first posting was as Assistant Commandant in Makum, Assam. Here he had to face a very challenging environment. But Sanjukta won everyone’s hearts with her bravery and fearlessness. When violence broke out between the Bodo and Bangladeshi communities in Udalguri district, he was sent there. He handled the situation without any fear and controlled the violence. From that time people in Assam started calling her “Iron Lady”.

It is not easy to pass the Civil Services Examination of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Lakhs of students appear for this difficult examination every year, but only a few of them are able to make their dreams come true. Pawan Kumar, resident of Raghunathpur village in Bulandshahr district, not only faced difficult circumstances but also realized his dream of becoming an IAS on the basis of his courage and dedication. His story is an example of poverty, struggle and hope.

Pawan’s family was very simple. His father Mukesh Kumar used to work as a laborer in MNREGA. The condition of the house was so bad that the walls were broken and instead of the roof one had to resort to tarpaulin and polythene. The family used to cover themselves with this tarpaulin even in rain or sun. Amidst so much poverty, Pawan had a deep passion for studies and a desire to do something.

Pawan’s family put in all their courage and hard work to give wings to his dreams. Father bought a second hand mobile for Rs 3200 so that Pawan could study. The mother sold some of her jewelery and the sisters also added their small savings to help Pawan meet the coaching expenses. It was the selfless devotion and faith of the family that carried Pawan forward.

Despite difficulties, did not lose courage

Pawan Kumar started his preparation for civil services in a coaching center in Delhi. In the beginning he faced continuous failure. There was no success in the first two attempts. But Pawan did not give up. He had no option to turn back. He studied day and night, spent most of the time in self-study and focused on his goal. His hard work paid off. Pawan secured 239th rank in the UPSC 2023 result and succeeded in becoming an IAS. Despite poverty and limited resources, he created history.

journey of education

Pawan did his primary education from Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bulandshahr. After this he completed his graduation from Allahabad University. He took admission in JNU for MA, but left it after a year as per his preference.

Pawan could not be selected in 2022 due to lack of just one mark. Even this failure could not break his courage. Poverty, difficulties and limited resources could not become obstacles in the path of his dream. He created history by becoming an IAS with his passion and confidence.

When the stories of those who have cleared the UPSC exam come up, tears start flowing from the eyes after reading them. Actually, UPSC Civil Services Examination is one of the toughest exams in the country. Lakhs of youth dream of passing it, but there are some stories which become examples of not only success but also inspiration. Similar is the story of Ravi Raj, a resident of Mahuli village in Nawada district of Bihar, who had poor eyesight so he brightened his life with dedication. His mother emerged as the greatest warrior for him. Let us know how Ravi became IAS?

This is how mother supported me

The biggest force behind Ravi’s success has been his mother Vibha Sinha. He considered his son’s education as his life. She would read books to him, prepare notes and do all the household work in such a way that Ravi’s studies were not hampered. Ravi tells that his mother lived her life like a student so that she could do something. He played YouTube lectures for me even while he was in the kitchen, so that I never lost focus on my studies. Ravi also took great help of Khan sir’s online classes during his preparation. Mother would play the video and Ravi would listen attentively. This became the backbone of his studies.

Had proved his ability earlier also

Ravi had shown his ability even before UPSC. He had passed the 69th BPSC examination and was selected for the post of Revenue Officer. But his aim was something higher. Therefore, he did not join that post and continued preparing for UPSC.

Failed thrice, won in fourth attempt

Ravi Raj failed in UPSC three times in a row. But he never gave up. Every time he understood his mistake, increased his hard work and achieved success in the fourth attempt.

Mother-son duo became an example

Ravi’s story is not just that of a student, but the joint victory of a mother and son. A mother who made her son’s dream her goal and a son who made that dream come true with his hard work.

Every year millions of youth dream of passing the difficult exam of UPSC, but there are only a few who fight the situation, rip the challenges and take themselves to the destination. Pushplata Yadav, who came out of a small village in Haryana, has shown a similar feat. Playing all the duty of a mother, a wife and a daughter -in -law, she not only passed the UPSC CSE, but also set an example across the country with All India Rank 80.

Flight was up from the village

Pushpalata Yadav is from Khuspura village in Rewari district of Haryana. His studies started in limited resources and simplicity atmosphere. After doing 12th from the village school, he studied in Science and then studied MBA. As soon as the studies were completed, he started a job in a private company, but the dream of doing something big in mind – a floor that has to fight the spirits to get.

Success on the first step

After work after work, studying at night and giving Test series in weekend became his routine. After two years of hard work, she passed the bank examination and became an assistant manager in State Bank of Hyderabad. The job was good, but the soul was not relaxed because the goal was still incomplete.

Mother became, but the dream did not forget

Life changed after marriage. It was a privilege to become a mother, but it was not easy to prepare for UPSC by becoming the mother of a two -year -old son. Pushpala left a bank job so that there is no shortage in fulfilling her dreams. He had neither support for coaching nor any big name of the city. But she had – her husband and family unwavering belief.

The mornings of struggle and nights of studies

Pushplata woke up at 4 in the morning, studied, then food for the son, school preparation, all day run away and studied again in the afternoon. This series lasted for years, not months. The first two attempts failed, but she did not stop. He knew that it happens when we stop.

Finally became an officer

In the third attempt in the year 2017, his hard work paid off and he achieved Air 80 in the UPSC CSE exam. That moment turned every pain, every sleep, every sacrifice into victory.

Civil Services Examination … One of the most difficult exams in India. Every year millions of youth work hard day and night with this dream in their eyes, but only a few are able to succeed. Resources, coaching, internet- despite everything, there is no success. On the other hand, there are some who not only fight with lacks, but also make their weakness their strength. The story of Satendra Singh is also like this – a real inspiration filled with struggle, stubbornness and passion.

Born in a small village in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh, Satendra’s life was full of struggles since childhood. When he was just two years old, he lost his eyesight forever due to the serious pneumonia disease. The condition of the house was not such that treatment could be done. His parents’ income depended only on farming. But Satendra did not give up.

Where to study?

After completing his schooling in some way, he came to Delhi, so that he can do further studies from good institutions. Here he learned Braille script from a government institution in Mukherjee Nagar and made it his biggest strength. After this, he graduated in Political Science from St. Stephen’s College, the prestigious St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University.

His spirits flew higher from here. He completed his Masters, then MPhil and PhD from JNU. Meanwhile, he was selected as Assistant Professor at Aurobindo College, University of Delhi. Usually, reaching here is also a dream of many, but Satendra’s dreams were much older than this.

The exam was given for the first time in 2018

Along with the job, he started preparing for UPSC. The more difficult this path was for a blind person, the stronger Satendra’s courage was. In the year 2018, he passed the Civil Services Examination for the first time and secured 714th rank. But they did not approve of staying here. He took the exam again and in 2021 he was selected as an IAS officer.

Inspiration for millions

Today, Satendra is not just a successful officer, but inspiration for thousands of millions of youth. His story tells that even if the intention is strong, even the darkness cannot stop the path. He not only defeated his weakness, but also showed the country that there is no obstacle in front of determination and hard work.
