Exact information regarding the total number of suicide attacks that have taken place in India so far has not been revealed. However, the attack on CRPF convoy in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir on 14 February 2019 was also a suicide attack. At that time a vehicle filled with explosives had hit the army bus carrying soldiers. In which 40 soldiers were martyred. The terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed had taken responsibility for this attack. This attack is considered one of the deadliest suicide attacks in the history of India.

On September 18, 2016, terrorists attacked an army camp in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir. In which 19 soldiers were martyred and four terrorists were killed by the security forces. After this attack, India responded to the terrorists by conducting a surgical strike. This was also a suicide attack.

On January 2, 2016, terrorists attacked Pathankot airbase in Punjab. In this attack, an encounter between heavily armed terrorists and security forces lasted for about 80 hours, in which seven soldiers were martyred.

Apart from this, the terrorist attack in Mumbai on 26 November 2008 was also a suicide attack. 10 terrorists who came by sea from Pakistan opened fire at the railway station, Taj Hotel and many other places. Many people were killed and more than 300 people were injured in this attack.

The attack on the Indian Parliament was also a suicide attack. On 13 December 2001, terrorists attacked the Indian Parliament building in Delhi. All five terrorists were killed in retaliation by security forces. About 9 people were martyred in this attack.

On January 25, 2000, many people were killed in a suicide attack at Srinagar Airport. This attack was carried out by Pakistan based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba.

On 22 December 2000, the Red Fort of Delhi was attacked by Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists. Three army soldiers were martyred in this. Before yesterday’s attack, this was the first major suicide attack in Delhi.

Apart from this, terrorists had carried out a suicide attack on the famous Raghunath temple of Jammu in 2002. About 10 people were killed and many were injured in this incident.

India once again surrounded Pakistan on the international stage. In the 60th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) held in Geneva, India reprimanded Pakistan on the matters of Jammu and Kashmir and terrorism. Indian diplomatic horizon Tyagi criticized Pakistan and said that first of all it should vacate illegal occupied areas.

After the Pakistani diplomat made a inflammatory statement against India in the session, Kshitij Tyagi made a sharp remarks on Pakistan in the case of human rights violations and promoting terrorism. He said that UNHRC should be fair and equal for all countries, so that focusing on select matters does not distract the basic issues.

India’s befitting reply

Kshitij Tyagi gave a clear message to Pakistan, “Pakistan is misusing this platform. It should vacate illegal occupied Indian areas instead of monitoring our region and focus on strengthening its economy.” Referring to the incidents of terrorists sent by Pakistan, he said, “There was an attack in Pahalgam in April this year. Will we forget Uri or Mumbai attacks? India and the whole world will never forget these antics of Pakistan.”

India also advised Pakistan that it should limit the dominance of its army, improve the condition of human rights and end the tendency to shelter terrorists.

Terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed has planned to hold a condolence meeting on Thursday (25 September) in memory of Yusuf Azhar, brother of his founder Masood Azhar. This meeting will be held in Markaj Shaheed Maksudabad of Peshawar and senior commanders and members of the organization will be involved in it. The organization can also use it as a recruitment campaign and will organize it under the name Al-Marabitun for not attracting attention, meaning ‘the protector of the land of Islam’ in Arabic. Along with this, there is a plan to build a memorial.

Yusaf Azhar was among the 10 family members who died in an air strikes on Jaish headquarters Jamia Mosque Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur, Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. On Operation Sindoor (April 22), there was a retaliation of India in the terror attack in Pahalgam.

According to a report by NDTV, Masood Azhar in his statement informed that those who died included her elder sister and her husband, a nephew and his wife, a niece and five children from the family. This incident was confirmed by a commander of Jaish in the video that surfaced this month.

Masood Azhar had planned Panama and Uri attacks

Masood Azhar had planned the Panama and Uri attacks, in which 59 Indian soldiers were martyred. He was also involved in Parliament and 26/11 Mumbai attacks. In 2019, the United Nations declared him a ‘global terrorist’. According to sources, the Jaish and other terrorist organizations such as Hizbul Mujahideen, who were targeted in Operation Sindoor, are now transferring to the province of Khyber-Pathunkhwa, Pakistan to create new hideouts.

India has regretted the civilian casualties during Operation Sindoor, but said that its effort was to limit and the 9 terrorist camps which were targeted were directly related to terrorist activities.

The South Asian Regional Cooperation Association (SAARC), which has been inactive due to long -term snow between India and Pakistan, is now being planned to be left behind. Pakistan, China and Bangladesh are now actively working towards the formation of a new regional organization. This organization can become an alternative to SAARC, which is trying to give a new look to regional trade, contact and strategic coordination. According to the report of the Pakistani newspaper Express Tribune, the recent conversation between the three countries has made significant progress in this direction.

Kunming meeting became the foundation of new initiative
On June 19, a tripartite meeting was held between representatives of Pakistan, China and Bangladesh in Kunming city of China. It is considered to be the first solid strategic attempt of this new diplomatic initiative. It was told that in the meeting, it was considered to invite other former SAARC member countries.

Bangladesh refused to talk about ‘coalition’
However, Bangladesh’s Foreign Affairs advisor M Touheed Hussain dismissed the idea that the meeting was only at a formal level and there was no aspect related to any political or coalition. He clarified that “we are not forming an alliance.”

Other countries including India can be sent invitation
According to the report, China and Pakistan are planning to propose to include India in this new group. Apart from this, countries like Sri Lanka, Maldives and Afghanistan can also be invited to join this regional platform. This platform will focus on increasing trade and contact.

SAARC’s inaction became the reason for the new initiative
Significantly, the final conference of SAARC was held in Kathmandu in 2014, while the 2016 conference was canceled due to Uri terrorist attack. India refused to join it, citing the “current situation” and then Bangladesh, Bhutan and Afghanistan also boycotted the conference, which stalled the organization.
