The ministry had posted on Twitter that testing would be done immediately after the ceremony.

Fear of war between Iran and America due to deployment of THAAD
According to the Sunday Guardian report, America has deployed new Patriot and THAAD air defense systems at military bases in the Middle East to protect its soldiers from Iranian attacks. This was announced by US officials on January 26, 2026. The internal situation in Iran is not good. For this reason America is carrying out the operation. According to the Sunday Guardian, Thaad has strengthened American missile defense in the Gulf. USS Abraham Link Carrier Strike Group has been sent to the Gulf of Oman. F-15E fighter jets and bombers are prepared for war at the military base in Al Udeed, Qatar. Through C-17A transport aircraft, equipment was delivered to two places within three days, Ali Al Salem Base in Kuwait and Prince Sultan Base in Saudi Arabia. This defense system uses two defense systems to protect against missile attacks by Iran. It combines THAAD long range interception capabilities with the Patriot PAC-3 defense system.
