US Iran Trade Warning: Amidst the increasing tension between America and Iran, President Donald Trump has taken a big and tough step. Trump has made it clear that any country doing business with Iran will have to pay the price. America has announced to impose 25 percent tariff on such countries.

Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social that if any country does business with Iran, it will have to pay 25 percent tax on every trade with America. He said that this rule will come into effect immediately and no changes will be made in it.

It may affect these countries

According to the report of Associated Press, countries like China, Brazil, Türkiye and Russia have trade relations with Iran. In such a situation, this decision can have a direct impact on these countries.

‘Want to find solution through talks’

Trump had earlier said that America can talk to Iranian officials and he is also in touch with Iranian opposition leaders. He expressed displeasure over the death of protesters in Iran and also warned of military action while increasing pressure on the government. However, on Monday, White House Press Secretary Carolyn Levitt made it clear that America’s first choice is still negotiations. He said that attacking is definitely an option, but the President wants to find a solution through dialogue first.

Levitt also said that America is not getting clear and consistent messages from Iran. He said that the Iranian government is saying one thing outside, while different things are coming out in internal conversations, and the President is trying to understand these messages.

Demonstrations are taking place in Iran

There have been large-scale demonstrations against the government in Iran in recent months. These demonstrations started with the severe economic crisis, but have now reached the demand for removal of the government. Iran’s influence in the region has also weakened.

Greenland Controversy: After Venezuela, now US President Donald Trump has set his sights on Greenland. Speaking to reporters on Wednesday evening, Trump said that the US will acquire Greenland, ‘whether they want it or not’ because according to him, if the US does not do so, then Russia or China can increase their influence there. Trump said, ‘We will not allow Russia or China to become our neighbors.’

The discussion of Trump’s aggressive stance is not limited to Greenland only. Apart from the statements made earlier regarding Venezuela, Trump has also threatened ground military action in Mexico. At the same time, his Foreign Minister Marco Rubio has made it clear that he is in favor of adopting a strict policy regarding Cuba, which his critics are linking to the Far Right agenda.

Have also talked about buying

News agency Reuters had earlier quoted sources as saying that White House officials are considering the option of providing economic incentives to the residents of Greenland to separate them from Denmark and bring them closer to America. Under this, internal discussions are going on to give a lump sum amount of $ 10,000 to $ 1,00,000 (about Rs 90 lakh in Indian currency) to every citizen of Greenland. However, this scheme is still in its initial stage and no clear decision has been taken regarding the time and process of payment.

‘It’s not about possession, it’s about purchase’

US President Donald Trump’s idea of ”buying” Greenland is not new, but it is being considered more seriously in recent days. Foreign Minister Marco Rubio told American lawmakers that President Trump does not want to forcibly occupy Greenland, but is preferring the option of buying it. However, this stance of the Trump administration is facing strong opposition in European countries.

strategic importance of greenland

Greenland, located between Europe and North America, is the world’s largest island, with an area of approximately 21,66,086 square kilometers (8,36,330 square miles). This island is currently a semi-autonomous region of Denmark. The population here is around 57,000 and this area is considered rich in natural resources, which further increases its strategic and economic importance.

It is noteworthy that both Denmark and America are NATO allies, yet Washington’s recent statements regarding Greenland have been sharply criticized. In this context, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Britain and Denmark issued a joint statement on Tuesday. It was clearly stated that the decision on the future of Greenland is entirely the right of Greenland and Denmark and American interference in it will not be acceptable.

Who decides when the people of a country will vote, that country or some external power? The sudden announcement of postponement of elections after the change of power in Venezuela has caught the attention of the world. The statements coming from America have sparked a debate whether the President of one country can influence the elections of another country. After President Trump’s statement, many questions have arisen in international politics.

New twist after change of power in Venezuela

The situation has changed rapidly after the change of power in Venezuela. Now international pressure has also come to the fore in this country which has been facing political and economic crisis for a long time. America has clearly said that it would not be right to hold elections immediately in Venezuela. The American side argues that it is necessary to first stabilize the country and handle the situation.

Maduro’s arrest and America’s role

After the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in the American operation, he was presented in the American court. A few hours after this incident, US President Donald Trump’s statement came out. Trump said that elections will not be held in Venezuela within the next 30 days. This statement made it clear that America is playing a decisive role in this entire incident.

What was the reason given for postponing the elections?

America says that Venezuela is currently going through political instability, economic crisis and administrative crisis. Holding elections in such an environment may worsen the situation. According to American officials, it is necessary to first bring law and order, administration and essential services back on track, only then fair elections will be possible.

Does America have the right to say this

This is where the biggest question arises. According to international law, elections of any sovereign country are a matter of its people and its institutions. No outside country has the right to directly decide the date of elections. However, powerful countries often exert influence through political pressure, economic sanctions and diplomatic rhetoric. Simply put, Donald Trump does not legally have any direct right to postpone elections in Venezuela.

Trump’s statement and growing debate

Donald Trump’s statement is much discussed because it is directly related to the deadline. When a country like America says that elections will not be held in 30 days, it is seen not just as advice but as pressure. Many analysts believe that this statement seems like interference in the internal politics of Venezuela.

Why is international reaction important?

The eyes of the world are fixed on the case of Venezuela. Some countries may be seen supporting America’s stance, while many may consider it interference in sovereignty. It is considered certain that this issue will be raised in international forums, because elections are the foundation of any democratic country.

India has taken a historic decision for Republic Day 2026. This time the top leaders of the European Union (EU), European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa will be invited as chief guests. This will be the first time that two top leaders of an international organization will together attend this prestigious national function of India. Both the leaders will reach New Delhi in January 2026, which is considered a symbol of giving a new direction and strengthening to the deepening strategic, economic and diplomatic relations between India and the European Union.

According to the Indian Express report, sources have said that the process of inviting European Union (EU) leaders as the chief guests of Republic Day 2026 is in the final stages. New Delhi and Brussels will soon announce this formal invitation and acceptance. Inviting a foreign leader as the chief guest on Republic Day is considered an important and symbolic step in India’s foreign policy. This selection is not just a formality, but it reflects India’s strategic, economic and geopolitical priorities.

Who was the chief guest in 2025?

India celebrates Republic Day every year on 26 January, which commemorates the implementation of the Constitution in 1950. This event is a symbol of India’s democratic heritage and international friendship. Till now, heads of state or government of many countries have been the chief guests of this function. In 2025, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto was the chief guest, while hosting two top EU leaders Ursula von der Leyen and Antonio Costa in 2026 will add a new chapter to India’s diplomatic history.

New strength in India-European Union relations

There has been significant progress in relations between India and the 27-member European Union in the last few months. After the visit of top representatives of the European Commission to India in February, dialogue and cooperation between the two sides has gained momentum. On October 20, the European Union approved a new strategic agenda, which aims to take India-EU relations to a new level. This agenda includes finalizing a Free Trade Agreement (FTA), promoting cooperation in technical, defence, security and public relations sectors.

US President Donald Trump has once again praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi openly. He made this statement during the Gaza Peace Summit held in Egypt, in which Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif was also present.

Trump said in his address, “India is a great country, with my very good friend at the helm. He has done a wonderful job.” After this, he expressed confidence in the relations between India and Pakistan and said, “I think India and Pakistan will live together very well now.” Trump looked at Sharif smilingly and asked, “Right?” To which Sharif smiled and nodded.

In his statement before the Gaza Summit, Shahbaz Sharif had given credit to Trump for stopping the war between India and Pakistan. In this context, Trump claimed that he had threatened to impose tariffs up to 200% to avoid war between India and Pakistan.

What did Trump say?

Trump had said, “I said if you two want to go to war and you have nuclear weapons, I will tax you both 100%, 150%, 200%. He said no, no, don’t do that and I resolved the matter in 24 hours.” However, India has already clarified that any ceasefire or ceasefire decision was taken with mutual consent by both the countries and not with the interference of any third country.

Shahbaz Sharif again demands Nobel for Trump

Shahbaz Sharif reiterated his demand to give Nobel Peace Prize to Trump for stopping the war. He said, “The contribution of Trump and his team to establishing peace between India and Pakistan is extraordinary.” In fact, Pakistan had earlier also nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for Diplomatic Intervention and Leadership. However, this award for 2026 went to Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado.

<p style ="Text-Align: justify;"> The ongoing war in Gaza is not over yet. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Sunday that only the release of hostages "First stage" It is believed that what will happen after this, the conversation is still going on.

<p style ="Text-Align: justify;"> Rubio said that Hamas has originally accepted the peace proposal of President Donald Trump, and the conversation on the outline set for the release of the hostages is going on. He said that meetings are going on on logistic aspects of this agreement, and America is keeping a close watch on the situation.

<p style ="Text-Align: justify;"> He said, & ldquo; Hamas has also agreed that further process will be discussed after the release of the hostages. Although many important points are yet to be agreed. & Rdquo;

<p style ="Text-Align: justify;"> According to Rubio, it will not take much time to find out whether Hamas is really serious about this agreement. He said, & ldquo; Our priority is the release of hostages, in return for which in Israel Gaza prescribed in mid -August & lsquo; Yellow line & rsquo; Till your army will consider retreating. & Rdquo;

<p style ="Text-Align: justify;"> & ldquo; Second stage is the most difficult & rdquo;

<p style ="Text-Align: justify;"> Rubio said that it would be the most difficult task to decide the long -term future of Gaza. He further said, & nbsp; & ldquo; When Israel takes back its army, then the question will arise, what will arise next? Can such a Palestinian leadership be prepared in Gaza that is technically capable but not connected to Hamas? & Rdquo;

<p style ="Text-Align: justify;"> He further said that & ldquo; How to deactivate terrorist organizations from Gaza, how to destroy the tunnels and how to bring armed factions on a peaceful path, & rdquo; This will be the biggest challenge of the coming time.

<p style ="Text-Align: justify;"> US Secretary of State said that if there is no concrete progress on these issues, then permanent peace cannot be expected. & ldquo; It will be a hard work, but very important. Without this, peace cannot be maintained in Gaza. & Rdquo;

Former US ambassador and Republican leader Nikki Haley has said that India should take concern seriously about President Donald Trump’s Russian oil and should find a solution with the White House as soon as possible. He said that the friendship of decades between the two largest democracy of the world and Goodwill gives a strong foundation to move beyond the current stress.

Haley wrote in the post on X- ‘India should take Trump’s talk seriously on the issue of Russian oil and find a solution with the White House. As soon as possible, it will be better. The friendship and goodwill of the world gives a strong foundation to move beyond the existing stress between the world’s two largest democracy. Tough conversation on issues like vaporic differences and Russian oil imports is necessary, but we should not forget that the most important are our shared goals. America must have a friend as India to face China.

Dispute on trade and dandruff oil
Nikki Haley said that the tension between America and India has increased considerably in recent times. Buying a large amount of Russian oil by India is providing financial help to Vladimir Putin’s attack on Ukraine. Due to this, the Trump administration has warned India to impose 25 percent additional tariffs. This step is above the 25 percent charges that have already been imposed on Indian goods. He also said that India has traditionally been one of the most protectionist (protectionist) economies in the world. In 2023, India’s average tariff was five times more than the US average.

India must take Trump’s Point Over Russian Oil Seriously, and Work With The White House to Find a Solution. The Sooner The Better.

Decades of Friendship and Good will between the world’s two largest democracies provide a solid basis to move past the current turbulence.…

– Nikki Haley (@nikkihaley) August 23, 2025

India will have to see separate from China
In one of his articles written in Newsweek recently, Nikki Haley insisted that India should not be considered as China. China has also bought oil from Russia, but has not had to face any restrictions till now. If the relations between America and India are bad, then it will ruin 25 years of progress and China will get a big benefit.

India’s importance in supply chain and defense
Haley said that India is very important for America in a short time, so that the supply chain can be removed from China. There are many products that are not possible to create a large scale in the US, such as – clothes, cheap mobile phones and solar panels. Only India can give their option.

India’s growing proximity to America, Israel and other associate countries is very important in the defense sector. India is a rapidly growing market for US defense equipment and its participation can also help stabilize the Middle East. India’s geographical location is also strategically important, as it is located in the center of China’s energy and trade routes. If there is a big struggle, then India can create difficulties for China.

Famous American economist and Professor Jeffrey de Sachs of Columbia University has fiercely criticized the decision of US President Donald Trump for imposing tariffs on India. He said that this decision is not strategic but destructive. He described it as the most silly strategic move of US foreign policy. He said that this tariff has not only caused a deep injury to Indo-US relations, but has also affected global alliances.

Sachs said that by putting 25% penalty tariffs, the US gave Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa a great opportunity to unite. Within 24 to 48 hours of the tariff being imposed, the contact between these countries intensified. This further strengthened the BRICS countries, damaging America’s strategic interests. He taunted that President Trump proved to be a great person to unite BRICS countries.

American leaders attacked
During the interview, Sachs also targeted American leaders. He called Senator Lindsay Graham as the most vulnerable senator and fool in America. He disqualified Trump’s former business advisor Peter Navarro. Sachs said that advisors like Navaro weakened the US foreign policy and hurt America’s credibility in the world.

America-India relations damage
Sachs warned that the effect of these tariffs will last long. India, which could have become strategic and diplomatic partner for America, will be a cause of great loss on it. Indians have now learned the lesson that you cannot trust America. Sachs said that even if the tariffs are removed tomorrow, the image of America has deteriorated in India’s mind.

No positive result of tariff
Jeffre de Sachs has described the tariff as completely failed. He said that there was no benefit from them in bringing any country to the conversation table. On the contrary, it weakened the aspect of the US foreign policy over the years.

Donald Trump on Iran Nuclear Program: US President Donald Trump on Friday (June 20, 2025) dismissed an intelligence report on Iran’s nuclear program. He said that his opinion of Tulsi Gabbard himself is wrong in this matter. Talking to reporters in New Jersey, Trump said, “My intelligence agency was wrong in this matter.” When he was told that Gabbard made this statement, he reiterated that he is wrong.

This statement has come at a time when tension in the middle East is continuously increasing. The pressure of America and its associates is increasing on Iran, especially with its nuclear program. Earlier in March, Tulsi Gabbard told US lawmakers that intelligence agencies believe that Iran has not taken any decision to make nuclear weapons.

Donald Trump said this big thing

Donald Trump said he does not understand why Iran needs nuclear power, when it already has one of the world’s largest oil reserves. He said, “If they have so much oil then why do they need nuclear power?”

Trump raised questions about the defense spending of NATO countries

Along with this, Trump also raised questions about the defense spending of NATO countries. He said that America does not need to accept the target of 5% GDP defense spending of NATO, but the rest of the countries should accept it.

Trump criticized Spain

Trump criticized Spain and said that he spends very little money and he also turned down the proposal for defense spending. He said, “Either they are very good deals, or are not doing the right thing. I think Spain should contribute as much as the rest of the countries.”

Iran us conflict: Iran on Saturday (June 07, 2025) criticized the travel ban imposed by US President Donald Trump, including Iran. Iran said that this ban shows hatred against Iranians and Muslims. In this context, Iran’s Foreign Ministry has issued a statement on the social media platform X.

The statement quoted a senior official as saying, “Banning the entry of Iranian citizens only on the basis of religion and citizenship, shows a deep hatred of not only Iranian people and American decisions towards Muslims, but it is also a violation of international law.”

America made these allegations against Iran

The US has imposed restrictions on more than 30 people and companies. It is alleged that these people are part of a “banking network” associated with Iran, who have launched billions of dollars of money laundering.

 Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said this

According to a report by Reuters, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghai said, “These new sanctions of America are illegal and violate international laws. They show that the US government constantly has enmity against the Iranian people.”

US President Trump banned these 12 countries

Significantly, US President Trump has imposed a complete ban on people of 12 countries to come to America. These include Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.

Some countries such as Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela have been imposed some special restrictions. People there will be difficult to give visas due to prolonged stay in America or not to cooperate with the police.

Why did the White House take this decision?

The White House said that these steps have been taken due to the Taliban, Iran and Cuban terrorism and hati due to illegal migrants in Afghanistan.
