After the announcement of imposing 25 percent tariff on India, US President Donald Trump has made another big explosion. Taking a dig at India and Russia, he has said that they do not care about India’s transaction with Russia and the two together can drop their dead economies down.

US President Donald Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social, “I don’t care what India does with Russia. We have done very little business with India. His tariffs are very much, which is one of the highest tariffs in the world. Similarly, Russia and America also do not do almost any business. Let it be like this.”

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev targeted
The US President also targeted former Russian President Dimitri Medvedev. Medvedev warned that Washington DC’s ultimatum game with Russia could lead to war. The US President said, “Russia’s unsuccessful former President Medvedev, who still considers himself President, asks him to pay attention to his words. He is entering a very dangerous field.”

India-Russia Defense Relations
India has been buying defense equipment, oil and energy resources from Russia for years. Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh posted social media and claimed that Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir was called as a special guest in the US military parade. He described this alleged invitation as a diplomat and strategic blow for India. Ramesh said that this is the same general Munir, who made provocative statements before the Pahalgam terror attack. Questioning the intention of America, he said that such a step can affect India-US relations.

White House told claims ‘wrong and misleading’
On Sunday, the White House completely denied these speculations and completely denied it. A senior American official clearly stated, “No foreign military officer was invited to the military parade. This claim is completely wrong.”

Following this clarification from the White House, the BJP accused Jairam Ramesh of spreading lies and being inspired by a hatred of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya said that Ramesh put misleading posts under the political agenda without confirming the facts.
