US President Donald Trump or his advisors made more than 3700 stock trades in the first three months of this year. After this revelation, a new investigation has started on Trump. This level of trading activity has surprised even the Wall Street magnates. Due to this, the concern of conflict of interest has again increased in Washington.
Bloomberg was the first to report these revelations, which showed trading activity worth millions of dollars in some of America’s largest technology, finance, aerospace and media companies. In simple words, between January and March this year, Trump made an average of more than 40 trades every day. This is a big jump from the previous quarter, when about 380 trades were disclosed in the last three months of 2025.

Stock market experts are quite surprised by this level of trade. Speaking to Bloomberg, market expert Matthew Tuttle said that this is a huge trade. He said, ‘It’s almost like a hedge fund with algo trading on a large scale.’

In which companies did Trump invest?

Revelations have revealed that Trump bought shares worth at least one million US dollars in companies like NVIDIA, Oracle, Microsoft, Boeing and Costco this quarter. The filing also included trades related to companies like Amazon, Meta, Uber, eBay, Abbott Laboratories, AT&T and Dollar Tree. One of the largest disclosed transactions occurred on February 10, when Trump sold holdings in Microsoft, Meta, and Amazon worth between USD 5 million and USD 25 million. Apart from this, investments related to companies involved in big media and entertainment deals like Netflix, Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Global have also been revealed.

Read this also- Clock ticking threat to Iran, talked to Netanyahu for 30 minutes… Why did Trump get angry after China tour? Ultimatum given to Tehran

Conflict of interest due to Trump’s investment!

Many of these companies work in sectors that are directly affected by the policies, regulations, and geopolitical decisions of the US government. For example, Nvidia needs approval from Washington to export advanced AI chips to China. Boeing is heavily dependent on defense and aerospace contracts with the US government. Big tech companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Meta are constantly affected by antitrust investigations, AI regulation debates, and federal policy decisions.

What do the critics say?

Critics say that even if no laws have been broken, such aggressive trading activities by the current President raise serious concerns about a possible conflict of interest. Unlike many previous US presidents, Trump did not sell his business interests entirely or put them into a traditional blind trust, which is managed independently without family involvement. According to Bloomberg, Trump’s businesses operate in industries that are impacted by government policy decisions, while his sons oversee a large portion of the Trump Organization.

Trump’s statements affected the stock market

These new revelations come just months after strange trading activity in the oil and stock futures markets, which led to speculation about inside information related to Trump’s public comments on Iran. Earlier this year, traders reportedly placed massive bets on falling oil prices and rising US equity markets, just before Trump suggested progress in Iran talks. Immediately following those remarks, oil prices fell while the stock market surged, leading to intense online speculation and new debate over the political implications of the market. Although no evidence directly linking Trump to those trades has emerged publicly, the incident has raised concerns about how sensitive political developments can be linked to financial markets.

US Bangladesh Trade Deal: America has reduced the tax on goods coming from Bangladesh to 19 percent. This decision has been taken after the new trade agreement between the two countries. According to this agreement, if clothes are made in Bangladesh from raw materials made in America, then such clothes can be sent to America without any tax.

Interim Chief Advisor of Bangladesh Mohammad Yunus gave this information. He wrote on social media platform

Relief received after nine months of talks

This tariff reduction has happened after about nine months of negotiations between America and Bangladesh. Initially, in April, America had proposed to impose tax up to 37 percent on goods coming from Bangladesh. But after long negotiations, it was reduced to 20 percent in August last year. Now it has been further reduced to 19 percent. Yunus described this agreement as a big step towards saving jobs and strengthening Bangladesh’s place in the world textile market.

Who signed the agreement?

According to the government statement issued from Dhaka, the agreement was signed on behalf of Bangladesh by Commerce Advisor Sheikh Bashir Uddin and National Security Advisor Khalilur Rahman. On behalf of America, it was signed by US Trade Representative Ambassador Jameson Greer.

Greer praised Yunus and his team, saying they had done a good job in closing the deal. According to the statement, Greer said, “This agreement will further strengthen Bangladesh’s position in America’s trade policy.” The White House has also said that the two countries will also work together to remove non-tariff barriers existing in Bangladesh.

Big relief for textile industry

Bangladesh’s readymade garment industry is the backbone of its economy. More than 80 percent of the country’s total income comes from this sector. About 40 lakh people work in this industry, most of whom are women, who come from villages and poor families. This sector contributes about 10 percent to the country’s GDP.

People associated with the industry say that due to low tariff, Bangladeshi factories will be able to survive in the US market, which is one of the biggest markets for them. Many factories had come into trouble in the last few years. The reasons were increasing production costs, cost of electricity and fuel, fluctuations in currency prices and strict rules for foreign buyers. Earlier this month, US President Donald Trump had also signed a trade agreement with India, in which the tariff was reduced from 50 percent to 18 percent.

Agreement reached before elections

This trade agreement has taken place at a time when the environment in Bangladesh is very delicate. Elections are to be held in the country on Thursday. An interim government has been running there since August 2024, when former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left the country and went to India, where she is still. The situation has worsened before the elections. More than 40 people, including women, were injured in clashes between workers of different political parties on Wednesday night. The interim government wants to show before the elections that the country’s economy is stable and the government is trustworthy. Trade policy is being considered an important part in this.

India-US Trade Deal: Trade deal between India and America has been announced. Under this agreement, America has reduced the tariff on Indian goods from 50 percent to 18 percent. This could not have been a better time for Indian exporters. This is a news of great relief especially for the companies making garments, leather and footwear. These companies had just shipped their containers for the summer season and were worried about the next season. For the last few months, many small Indian companies had stopped exporting to America, while big companies were somehow saving their business by giving huge discounts.

Additional tariff will also be removed
Announcing this deal, US President Donald Trump said that the tariff on India has been reduced to 18 percent. Besides, the additional tariff of 25 percent imposed by India on purchasing Russian oil is also being removed. Trump said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has agreed to stop purchasing Russian oil. According to a report in Times of India, officials say that India’s concerns have also been taken into account in this deal and America’s concerns have also been fully included.

Will India outweigh China and Bangladesh?
America is India’s largest trading partner and mutual trade between the two countries is worth 131.84 billion dollars. The most important thing is that India is in a trade surplus situation with America. Both the countries were negotiating a trade agreement since February last year and have set a target of taking mutual trade to $500 billion by 2030.

Indian goods more competitive in American market
After the trade deal, Indian goods have now become more competitive in the American market. For example, Indian garments will now attract 18 per cent tariff, whereas those from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will attract 20 per cent tariff. Similarly, Indian carpet will also benefit. Indian carpet had to lose a lot of market share due to 50 percent tariff, but now it will be cheaper than Turkish carpet. Similarly, once again Indian shrimp will also become cheaper in the American market. Companies exporting gems and jewelery have also heaved a sigh of relief after this decision.

Competition with China and which sectors will be affected?
Now Indian goods will become cheaper in America as compared to China, because 34 percent tariff is imposed on most of the Chinese goods in America. However, tariffs on auto parts and metal will remain intact for now. The companies are still waiting for the complete details of this trade deal, because no joint statement has been issued on it. Meanwhile, India has also recently signed trade deals with the UK and the European Union, which will provide an opportunity to Indian exporters to further diversify their business.

Export figures and impact of previous tariffs
Between April and November, America’s exports from India increased by 11.3 percent to $59 billion. During this period, smartphone exports doubled to $16.7 billion. In August, 25 percent tariff was imposed on Indian goods and after that an additional 25 percent tariff was also imposed on buying oil from Russia. Many companies had already sent more goods to America to avoid this tariff. Apart from this, tariff was not applicable on about 40 percent of exports from India to America, which include electronics and pharma sectors.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the country at 5 pm today. It is being speculated that PM Modi can talk about GST reform in his address because tomorrow i.e. 22 September new rates of GST 2.0 are going to be implemented in the country.

Recently, when the US imposed a 50 percent tariff on India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to the citizens to adopt indigenous from a public meeting. He said that adoption of indigenous is not only a means of economic strength, but it is also a way to increase the self -reliance and cultural pride of the country. He has asked the industrialists and the general public to increase the use of local products, which increases employment opportunities and strengthens India’s economy.

When did PM Modi address the country?

-Prime Minister Narendra Modi first addressed the country on 8 November 2016. Addressing the country at 8 pm, PM Modi announced to close 500 and one thousand rupee notes.

-After the removal of Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, he addressed the nation on March 27, 2019.

-When the cases of Corona started in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the people of the country on 19 March 2020, appealed for the public curfew.

When Korona started showing havoc all over the world, the cases started increasing in the country, then PM Modi once again addressed the country at 8 pm on March 24 and announced a lockdown across the country.

On April 3, 2020, PM Modi appealed to light lamps in honor of the warriors engaged in emergency works during the Korona period.

-PM Modi once again extended the lockdown to May 3 across the country on 14 April, 2020.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the self -reliant Bharat Abhiyan on May 12, 2020. On June 30, the free ration scheme was extended for six months.

On 20 October, PM Modi gave a message further strengthening the fight against Kovid-19-until the medicine is not lax.

-On November 19, 2021, the Prime Minister withdrew the three agricultural laws while addressing the country. The farmers protested fiercely on the boundaries of Delhi against these laws.

Recently, after the Pahalgam terror attack in 2025, the Indian Army launched Operation ‘Sindoor’. After the success of this campaign, Prime Minister Modi while addressing the nation strongly condemned the terrorist attack and appreciated the bravery of the army.

Us federal reserve cut interest rate: The threat of recession in the US is continuously increasing, so the central bank US Federal Reserve has taken a big step. The Federal Reserve on Wednesday approved a cut of 25 basis points in interest rates. That is, taking loans in America will be a little cheaper than before.

The Federal Reserve has indicated that by the end of this year it can cut the interest rates twice. Actually, there are serious concerns about the labor market in America. The speed of new jobs has slowed down and there is a danger of growing unemployment. In such a situation, the government wants to promote investment and consumption by cutting interest rates.

What will be the effect?

EMI of debt and home loan may decrease, which will increase people’s spending ability. Foreign investors can turn to emerging markets again, which can lead to a boom in the stock market. The position of other currencies can be stronger against the dollar, and the prices of items like gold and oil will be seen fluctuations.

Israel Iran Tensions: Wall Street was shaken on Friday after the attack on Iran by Israel. A strong attacks were carried out by Israel by targeting Tehran’s important establishments to prevent Iran from making nuclear weapons. In response to this, Iran was also reversed, after which where the voice of Israeli siren was heard, there was echo of explosions in Jerusalem.

Due to the attacks and counters between Israel and Iran on each other, on the one hand, there has been a fear in the minds of global investors, on the other hand, there has been a lot of tension in the Middle East.

Increased tension in the middle east

It is believed that if there are attacks on each other in this way, then the supply of crude oil can be interrupted from the Middle East. This is the reason that as soon as Israel attacked Iran, after that the price of crude oil climbed 7 percent.

Due to the increase in fuel prices, there is a decline in stocks of airlines companies. United Airlines has come to 4.4 percent, American Airlines 4.9 percent and Deelt Airlines 3.8 percent. However, the defense stocks including RTX Corporation have been seen to be fast since the Israeli attack.

Energy stocks boom

Energy sector is visible in enthusiasm due to Israeli attack on Iran. Diamondback energy has shown a jump of 3.7 percent and Exone of about 2 percent. While the S&P 500 index slipped 1.13 percent on Friday. Nasdaq was also 1.30 percent and Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 1.79 percent.

The market experts believe that if all this continues in this way, then the situation can be serious. Ilyas Hadad, a senior market analyst of Brown Barsha Heriman, says that if this situation continues, we can get caught in a completely military struggle.

The US Stock Market has made a new flight following the trump administration’s decision to give relief in tariffs on electronic products imported on China on the US side of China. Dow Jones saw 0.5%, S & amp; P 500 0.75% while Nasde Composite Futures saw an increase of 1.26%.

Earlier, on Friday, the Trump administration had removed the reciperook tariff from the top of the electronic product exported to the US from China. After this, only 20 percent of tariffs will be imposed on computer, phone and semiconductor, which was already imposed on China’s goods on behalf of Trump.

 market uncertainty

This brightness is seen in the US stock market when earlier President Trump had announced a huge tariff on his business partner countries, after which the huge decline in the stock market created new concern. Even though Trump has announced a break on tariff of 90 days, but still there is concern among investors.

Tech manufacturers such as Apple, Microsoft and NVidia have a large dependence on China, so after applying the reciperook tariff, other such products including the iPhone will become quite expensive. However, Commerce Minist Howard Lutnick said that the discount is not permanent. Other administrative officials said that another tariff can be imposed after investigation on the impact of the import of semiconductors.

 Investors still doubt

Earlier, President Trump had said on social platform Truth Social that no one will be given a discount for the unique trade balance, especially China that threatened us the most!

Due to the constant confusion about tariffs, many investors have banned their decisions till clarity comes. Massivetes Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren said in CNN’s program- In the State of the Union, investors will not invest in the US until they will show red light and sometimes green lights on tariffs and will give special discounts to some countries.

Significantly, in recent weeks, a huge tariff was imposed on some countries on behalf of Trump. The baseline of tariffs was applied to 10 percent of all countries, while 60 countries have higher tariff higher rates, with 49 percent over Cambodia, 46 percent above Vietnam and 20 percent of the European Union. The stock market saw a huge decline at that time on 3 April and about 6 trillion dollars were drowned by investors. After this, on 7 April, the market again showed earthquake. & nbsp; & nbsp;

Us Donald Trump Tariff on India: According to a new report by CARAEGE ratings, India may face export losses of $ 3.1 billion (about Rs 25,700 crore) due to a possible new tariff to be declared by US President Donald Trump. This figure is equal to about 0.1 percent of India’s GDP (GDP), which can become a matter of concern for the Indian economy.

According to Smita Rajpurkar, director of CARAIGE Ratings, increasing tariffs may have a serious impact on India’s major export areas, including many areas. For example, textile and garment industry, automobiles and auto parts include IT and pharmaceuticals. Explain that a huge amount of cloth is exported to America from India, which will be affected by increasing tariffs. The Indian auto sector is already facing recession, so it can be further affected by the new tariff. India’s IT and pharmaceutical companies make good profits from the US market. Increasing tariffs will increase cost, which can reduce the competitive capacity of Indian companies.

Possible impact of tariff on India
If US President Donald Trump announces a tariff on India, then many types of major effects can be seen, which is not being considered right for the Indian economy in any way.

Exports fall: Increased tariffs will cost Indian companies to send goods to America, which can reduce their demand.
Putstation in currency: Indian rupee can weaken due to increasing business tension with America, which will make imports expensive and inflation can increase.
Investment reduction: Global investors can avoid investing in India due to increasing trade stress, which can affect Indian stock market.
Business war threat: The report also warns that if the global trade war broke out, it can increase the instability in the Indian economy and negatively affect financial stability.

Can India overcome this crisis?
India will need to adopt some strategies to overcome this crisis, such as focus on other export markets. Along with this, insisting on increasing trade with Europe, Africa and Asian countries by reducing dependence on America. The local industry will have to provide subsidy and tax relief so that they can withstand the impact of the new tariff and maintain competition. India will have to talk to the US on new business treaties, so that economic balance can be maintained.
