The first charge sheet in India was filed against Tahawwur Rana, accused in the 26/11 Mumbai attack, in 2011. Earlier, a case was registered against him in America in 2009. In 2013, he was sentenced to 14 years in jail by a US court, but the US Supreme Court allowed him to extradite India before his sentence was completed.
