The heat in Uttar Pradesh has now started becoming dangerous. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heat wave alert in many parts of the state. Especially in the southern areas of Bundelkhand and Eastern Uttar Pradesh, there is a possibility of severe heat wave for the next two to three days. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature can go around or above 45 degrees Celsius, due to which people need to be alert.

Dry weather and westerly winds increased the problems

The Meteorological Department says that at present dry weather is prevailing in the entire state and westerly winds are blowing continuously. This is the reason why strong sunlight and hot wind are scorching people during the day. It is becoming difficult to get out of the house in the afternoon. Doctors are also advising to go out only when absolutely necessary and avoid dehydration.

Temperature crosses 44 degrees in many cities

According to the report released on April 19, severe heat was recorded in many districts of the state. Prayagraj was the hottest, where the temperature was recorded at 44.6 degrees Celsius, which is 4.7 degrees more than normal. The highest deviation of 5.0 degrees was recorded in Varanasi with a temperature of 44.2 degrees.

Apart from this, the temperature was 43.8 degrees in Sultanpur, 43.6 degrees in Agra, Jhansi and Banda. 43.2 degrees Celsius was recorded in Hamirpur and 43.1 degrees Celsius in Fursatganj. The temperature remained above normal at all these places, which clearly shows that the effect of heat is increasing rapidly.

People advised to be cautious

In view of the continuously increasing heat, the administration and health department have advised people to take precautions. Children, elderly and sick people have been asked to take special care. Go out during the day with your head covered, wear light clothes and drink as much water as possible.
