The private school from which Anushka studied up to 10th standard was close to her house, but when it came to admission in a government school, Anushka took admission in GIC Badasi located 20 km away. It was not easy to study by traveling long daily, but Anushka never gave up and stood on her goal.

Anushka’s elder brother is currently studying engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. Anushka got inspiration from his brother as well. In the year 2025, a total of 2,23,403 students had registered for the Uttarakhand board examination. Of these, 1,13,690 students joined class 10th and 1,09,713 students in class 12th. The examination was held from 21 February to 11 March 2025, while practicals were concluded in two phases in January and February. Examinations were conducted at a total of 1,245 examination centers across the state.
