At the same time, on 23 August 1988, Vani Kapoor, born in a Punjabi Hindu family in Delhi, started her career with modeling and then worked as an assistant with Yash Raj Films. His first film ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ was released in 2013, in which his acting was appreciated. She also received the Filmfare Award for Best Women Debut for this film.

Vani worked in films like ‘Befikre’ (2016), ‘War’ (2019), ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ (2021) and ‘Red 2’ (2025). His transgender character in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ received a lot of praise. The same year, he worked with Akshay Kumar in ‘Bell Bottom’, but the film failed commercially.
