The film ‘Vadh 2’ starring Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta in lead roles proved to be lackluster at the Indian box office. Released with little buzz, the film had a very slow start and after that it could not pick up any pace. As a result, despite having a sequel factor, it did poorly, although its collections were higher than the first part. Hindi crime thriller ‘Vadh 2’ was released in theaters on 6 February. It received mixed reviews from critics, while its prequel ‘Vadh’ was praised by everyone. This film could not provide the required content and due to this it did not find audience in theatres.

Vadh 2 opened with just Rs 50 lakhs and in its lifetime run, the film increased its opening-day collections by a little over 7 times. As per the final collection update, the film earned only Rs 3.83 crore nett at the Indian box office. This is equal to the gross collection of Rs 4.51 crore. Compared to Part One’s Rs. 60 lakhs, the sequel earned 538.33% more, but it was of no use.

How much loss did the makers suffer from Vadhaan 2?
Let us tell you that Vadh 2 was made with a budget of Rs 10 crore. Compared to the cost, this film earned only Rs 3.83 crore nett. That means this film recovered only 38.3% of the budget. Along with this, due to this film the makers had to suffer a loss of Rs 6.17 crore or 61.7%. This film has been a flop at the Indian box office.

If you think that you are related to Sherlock Holmes and you know who the murderer is in every murder mystery, then this will not be the case here. You will feel that you are getting to know something but it will not happen, the shocking factor which was there in Vadh is more in Vadh 2, it is a better film than the first part.

This is not a sequel to Vadh, it is a new story and not much can be told about the story here. There is a murder, whose murder is it? who does? You will know this only after watching the film and yes, you will see the film in the theater only.

how is the movie
This is an amazing film, the screenplay of the film is very brilliant, the film does not give you a chance to get up from the seat and look at the mobile. The film moves at a good pace, maintains the suspense, layers are revealed one by one and you think you know it but the climax surprises you. What you don’t think happens. The love story of Neena Gupta and Sanjay Mishra in the film wins your heart. In a film of 2 hours 10 minutes, you don’t feel even a single extra minute. People often do not go to theaters to watch such films because there are no superstars in them, but this is an amazing film, go and watch it so that good films are made.

acting
Sanjay Mishra has done a brilliant job, he is such a natural actor that he gets into every role. Be it love for Neena Gupta or becoming a wet cat in front of his seniors, he does wonders in every shade. Neena Gupta has shown that she is amazing and incomparable and she should get more work. Kumud Mishra is amazing, the way he has played the character of the jailer is unique in itself. An honest jailer who believes in casteism, Kumud tells that he is an amazing actor. Amit Singh has played the role of a policeman amazingly. He did not pale in front of Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta. Akshay Dogra looks dangerous and has put life into his character. Shilpa Shukla’s work is great. Yogita Bihani has played her character very well with innocence.

Writing and Direction
Jaspal Singh Sandhu has done his work with full honesty, he started his direction with Vadh and extended his writing career with Vadh 2.
