15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made everyone crazy with his stormy batting. Be it cricket fans or former cricketers, everyone is seen praising his explosive batting. Vaibhav Suryavanshi won the Orange Cap by scoring the most runs in IPL 2026, and now he has got a place in Team India. Meanwhile, his childhood coach Manish Ojha has revealed the secret of his success.

According to Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s childhood coach Manish Ojha, the strength and technique of his shots is the result of six years of hard work and continuous practice. Ojha said that Vaibhav used to practice for about eight hours every day and faced the balls for about 100 overs. At the age of just 15, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, one of the most popular batsmen in world cricket, has been selected in Team India for the T20 series against Ireland and England.

In IPL 2026, Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 776 runs at an excellent strike rate of 237. Coach Manish Ojha, who has been training Vaibhav since the age of eight, told PTI that along with hard work, parents Sanjeev and Aarti have a big contribution behind Vaibhav’s success. He said many parents are now bringing their young children to academies with the aim of making them “the next great thing”, but it is not as easy as it looks.

How many balls on an average would Suryavanshi have played every day since the age of 10, when he started playing with hardball instead of tennis ball? Ojha’s answer was shocking. Ojha told PTI in an interview, look, we don’t count the balls, how many balls he played, but I can give you a minimum estimate that he must have played more than 600 balls. I’ll tell you how. I used to give throwdowns myself for about 200-300 balls. When I got tired, other support staff would help me. And when he got tired, the bowlers from our academy would help him. Sometimes he himself would get tired.

The coach told that this practice started at 7:30 in the morning and continued till 4 in the evening. Manish Ojha believes that six years of continuous practice has developed strong ‘muscle memory’ in him. The coach also told about the struggle of Vaibhav’s mother and father.
