When will Vaibhav Suryavanshi play his first match for Team India? This remains a million dollar question in the cricket world. Amidst the growing demand to give a chance to Vaibhav, bowling coach Morne Morkel has made it clear that 15-year-old Vaibhav will have to wait for the opportunity.

Team India’s bowling coach Morne Morkel says that none of the top order batsmen (Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan) will be dropped. He stressed that it is very important to show confidence in the players who have been doing well for the team in the last months.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s debut will not happen

Morne Morkel said, “Sanju Samson was the player of the tournament in the T20 World Cup. He also had a good IPL season. From the coaching staff’s point of view, it is very important to show confidence in your players. A young player is waiting for his chance and that is very interesting, but we have to think about the entire team, not just the top order batsman.”

Morkel impressed by Vaibhav

Morne Morkel told that he has made Vaibhav practice in the nets, after which he is very impressed with the 15-year-old player. Morkel believes that Vaibhav has established a good rapport with other players and when he gets a chance, it is expected that he will be able to perform brilliantly.

Talking about the T20 series, the first match was washed out due to rain. Now the second match is to be played in Manchester on 4th July. A total of 5 matches will be played in this T20 series.
