Vaibhav is a resident of Chitana village of Sonipat and currently lives in West Ramnagar area of ​​Sonipat city. His father Jai Bhagwan is a lawyer, while mother Seema Devi is a housewife. Vaibhav has two elder sisters. Education is given great importance in the family. Vaibhav told that he studied 10 to 12 hours daily during UPSC preparation. Maintained distance from social media, due to which his entire focus remained only on studies.

Vaibhav passed this exam in the third attempt. Before this he had also given the Haryana Civil Services examination. The good thing is that he did most of his preparation from online resources. Amandeep is currently posted as Workshop Officer in Border Roads Organization (BRO) in Arunachal Pradesh. Even while working, he did not stop preparing for UPSC.
