VIDA VX2 Range And Price: Vida, a subsidiary of Hero MotoCorm, has launched a new edition of VX2 electric scooter. This EV of Vida has been brought with a battery pack of 3.4 kWh. This new variant of VX2 was launched by Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. The ex-showroom price of this scooter has been kept at Rs 1.02 lakh. This electric scooter from Vida is the new mid-spec variant of the VX2 line-up, which comes with a bigger battery pack and more range.

Vida’s new range of electric scooters

Vida’s new scooter is the next variant of its VX2 Go. It has a new 3.4 kWh battery pack, which provides more range. This EV has been launched with dual-removable-battery setup, which gives a real world range of 100 kilometers in a single charge. The motor installed in this electric scooter generates power of 6 kW and torque of 26 Nm. This scooter can run at a top-speed of 70 kmph. This EV has two riding modes – Eco and Ride, through which the rider can manage the efficiency.

Features of the new Vida VX2

The Vida VX2 Go 3.4 kWh scooter has been kept compact and functional form factor as before. This scooter has a flat floorboard, a long seat and 27.2 liters of underseat storage is also available. One gets a better riding experience even alone on this scooter. At the same time, it can be easily transported by seating another person along with it or by keeping some luggage on the back seat.

12-inch alloy wheels have been used in this scooter of Vida, which come with tubeless tyres. This EV is equipped with a basic digital instrument cluster, on whose display riding information is available.

Hero Motocorp, one of large two-wheeler companies, is preparing to make electric scooters affordable. In this episode, the company’s electric mobility brand, VIDA’s VX2 electric scooter to be launched next month will be brought with a subscription-based battery-ej-e-servis (BAAS) option. This will reduce the cost of the battery in the price of Vida VX2.

A media Report According to, this BAAS option of electric scooter will run on the ‘Pay-ee-U-Go’ subscription system. With this, according to the customers cost, separate finance of scooters and batteries will be done. It will have a range of subscription plans based on both daily and monthly use methods. With this, customers will be able to pay based on the actual use of their electric scooters and they will not need to worry about the situation of the battery or change. The BAAS option in the segment of electric vehicles was started by MG Motor last year with Windsor EV. This has reduced the initial price of this electric crossover. However, additional battery rental per kilometer has to be repaid with it. This option has received good response from customers. Windsor is the best -selling EV for the last few months.

Hero MotoCorp’s VIDA’s charging ecosystem is growing rapidly. This includes more than 3,600 fast charging stations and more than 500 service points in more than 100 cities. Information about the price and subscription plan of Vida VX2 can be given soon. The company has planned to increase its presence in this segment. Three models are being sold under the VIDA brand of Hero MotoCorp. The company had said that it would launch two new electric scooters on 1 July.

Recently, a media report quoted sources as saying that the company is working on a low cost EV platform, ACPD. Along with this, the upcoming VIDA electric scooters of Hero MotoCorp are likely to be the same as scooters with internal combustion engine (ice). The company’s new electric scooters may be somewhat different from its pre -existing V2 and the recently introduced Z series.
