According to the information, the auto pilot system of Air India flight AI-154 had failed at an altitude of 39,000 feet, after which the flight had to be urgently diverted to Dubai. The plane has landed safely there and all the passengers are safe. As soon as the Air India flight landed in Dubai, the airline’s technical team immediately started investigation. After getting clearance from the technical team, the flight has been allowed to take off again. The plane departed from Dubai for Delhi at 8:45 am (Indian time).

Earlier, Air India flight AI-117 going from Amritsar to Birmingham had an emergency landing at Birmingham Airport on Saturday. The flight took off from Amritsar at 12:52 pm on October 4 and reached Birmingham after about 10 hours 45 minutes. Before landing, the aircraft’s ram air turbine automatically activated, after which the pilot made a precautionary emergency landing.
