Vijay Raj’s murder mystery film ‘Udaipur Files’ was released on August 8 in theaters. Udaipur Files Controversy Update: Amit Jani, the producer of the film ‘Udaipur Files’, based on the famous Kanhaiya Lal murder case of Rajasthan, was threatened with death through social media on Friday.

As soon as the information of this case is received, the film’s director Bharat S.K. Srinet and Director Amit Jani reached the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) office of Mohali and lodged a complaint.

Producer of ‘Udaipur Files’ threatened to kill his life

Meanwhile, a hearing was held on Thursday in the Delhi High Court regarding the release of the film. The court put an interim prohibition on the release of the film. The court said that the film will not be released until the central government takes a final decision in this matter.

The High Court gave the petitioner Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind for two days to register its complaint with the central government under Section 6 of the Cinematograph Act. The court also directed that if such a complaint is received, the central government will have to take a decision in a week.

This film is made on the real story

‘Udaipur Files’ is based on the murder of tailor Kanhaiya Lal Sahu in Udaipur on 28 June 2022. Kanhaiya Lal was alleged to have made a post on social media in support of former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma, after which two attackers entered the shop and strangled him to death. The incident was recorded by the attackers and made viral on social media, which caused resentment across the country.

The film stars Vijay Raj, Rajneesh Duggal and Preity Jhangiani in important roles. The film was scheduled to release in theaters across the country on July 11. However, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind filed a petition claiming that the content of the film could incite communal tension. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had put several cuts before giving a certificate to the film.

At the same time, the producer of the film says that it is not against any community, but against fundamentalism and terrorism. Kanhaiya Lal’s family has supported the film amid controversy.

Story
This is the story of a boy named Pintu i.e. Sushant Thhamke whose girlfriend leaves him and leaves. Then he comes to his maternal uncle Ganesh Acharya and he comes to know that whatever the puppy he takes, he gets married. Then both maternal uncle nephew make it a business and Pintu takes the girls’ puppy and get them married. Then she falls in love with a client who is the daughter of a leader. These people take marriage money but do not get married, because Pintu has to marry her. What will happen further, you can go to the theater to see this.

How is the film
This is a good time pass masala entertainer. You have a good time pass while watching the film. The film has a different type of story, the work of actors is good. Good songs come in between, and watching this film, you also think that some starkids are promoted so much without talent and this film is much better than their films and why not promote that level, or why not its hype among the audience. The problem is that the audience is so busy trolling Napo Kids and he is enjoying it so much that he does not want to give his time to see a good thing. See, this is not a great film but it is not a bad film either. At least is better than many films that are promoted on a war footing. For whom it is also said to give them a chance. In the first film, there were many other stars, then give them a chance and go to the theater to take a puppy from Pintu.

Acting
All three lead actors are new to this film and all three have done a good job. Looking at them, it seems that if you get the right opportunity and direction, then they can do better. Sushant Thamke’s work is good. From comedy timing to dance and emotion, they are good. Janya Joshi is very cute and his work is also good. They should get more opportunities. Filmmakers must be seen on such new and fresh faces. Vidhi Yadav also looks quite innocent and his work is also very good. Ganesh Acharya has done a funny work in the role of Pintu’s maternal uncle, he also looks like and also does action. This film has also been promoted in the name of Ganesh, Vijay Raj’s work is good, Murali Sharma is good.

Direction
Shiva Hare has directed the film and has done good work from newcomers. The treatment of the story is fun, obviously it is not a very big budget film but Shiva has done a good job in the limited budget. Anadi Sufi has tried to write something new and this effort is good.

Music
Nitin Arora has given the music of the film and the songs of the film are good. If the songs come in the middle, then they do not do it. It is also fun to listen to some songs, Ganesh Acharya is associated with the film and songs have been filmed in a grand manner.

Overall, this is a small budget timepass film which can be seen.
