Vikrant Massey welcomed the New Year with his son and wife in the hilly valleys. His wife Sheetal Thakur shared many pictures of New Year celebration on Instagram, in which a glimpse of their New Year family vacation was seen. In the first picture, Sheetal is seen holding her little son in her lap.

Now, so many days after the birth of his son, Vikrant remembered the time when his wife was about to give birth to their child. This moment was the most special moment of his life, but he was scared inside after seeing his wife writhing in pain.

In an interview given to Ranveer Allahabadia, Vikrant Massey spoke openly about his journey of becoming a father. He also said that the contribution of a mother is more important than that of a father. He recalled how his wife suffered from labor pain for 30 hours.

Vikrant always wanted to have a family
Further talking about his wife, Vikrant said – Tashadi is a continuous work, in which energy is put in every possible way. He told that earlier he was hesitant to get into a long-term relationship, but he always wanted to create a family.

Wife remained in labor pain for 30 hours
Vikrant further revealed that his wife Sheetal remained in labor pain for 30 hours while giving birth to their son. She was in agony but they could not do anything. Vikrant said- ‘Seeing Sheetal during the nine months of pregnancy was a different experience. Even though I have known him for ten years. Looking at that little girl, seeing her belly growing day by day. I think she must have endured labor pain for 30 hours. I mean, women endure a lot. He further said that whatever men can do, they are less than women.

Vikrant said, ‘Struggles happen in the lives of all of us. Like you said, everyone has their own struggles. I too have my own. You also have your own. What should I tell?

Then when he was asked whether there was ever any shortage of money. Or has any director ever said that you are a TV actor? On this Vikrant said, ‘Vinod Sir had also said that you are a TV actor. Why would anyone come to the theater to watch your picture? And to some extent this was also true. When we were talking about 12th fail. Long time ago. Meaning, this was one and a half year before the shoot.

Vikrant further said, ‘But if we talk about struggle, no 16 year old child wants to go out of the house and work by his choice. When you get down from the same building and see that your friends are playing cricket and you have to take the train to work. So there are many reasons behind this. You have to support yourself. You have to support your family and your studies. I have no regrets. And as for starting with TV in 2004, it was difficult. Because there was also a belief that TV actors cannot work in films and even if they do, they will have to become friends of the hero. My beginning was also somewhere there. That internal struggle that is going on is still going on today. There are many stories to be told. So the struggle will continue.

The actor said that he does not remember his son’s first word. He said, “I had a son and I had only videos of him. I did not see his first tooth coming out. He called ‘Papa’ in my absence for the first time. The first memory of his ‘father’ is a video through a video that I have saved in a folder. It is going to break the heart.”

Vikrant will take a break from work in future too
Vikrant emphasized that if it helps him to move forward personal or professionally, then he has no hesitation in taking a similar break in the future. The actor said, “If tomorrow I feel like taking another break, whether it is tomorrow, after months or years I will go back to the drawing board to improve myself as an actor. Because of the blessings and privileges I have, I will keep moving myself forward, even if it means it to go away again”

Talking about Vikrant Massey’s work front, the upcoming film of the actor, the eyes of the eyes are ready for release in theaters. This film is a romantic drama based on the story of Ruskin Bond. Shanaya Kapoor is making her debut with this film. Directed by Santosh Singh, the film is scheduled to release on July 11.
