Vietnamese car company VinFast is now preparing to launch its next big electric car in India. The company has confirmed that it is going to launch its new 7-seater electric MPV Limo Green in the Indian market. This will be VinFast’s third electric car in India, before this the company has introduced VF 6 and VF 7. Limo Green will be launched in February 2026 and after its arrival, it will give tough competition to electric MPVs like Kia Carens Clavis EV, BYD eMax 7. Let’s take a look at its features.

Limo Green will be manufactured in India only

• VinFast has said that Limo Green will be manufactured in India only, which will reduce the production cost and make the price of the car more affordable as per the Indian market. The brand’s signature V-shaped design has been given in this MPV, in which both the old style of MPV and the modern appeal like SUV can be seen. Its design looks stylish and premium due to the straight cuts and clean lines given on its body panels. Additionally, it has been provided with aero-style wheels, which help in increasing the range of the car.

Clean and modern interior

• The interior of Limo Green has been designed in simple and modern design. It gets a comfortable 2+3+2 seating layout for 7 people, making it a good option for large families. Features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen system, 4-speaker audio setup, single-zone AC and multiple USB charging ports. The shape of the model coming to India is also expected to be almost similar to the Vietnam version, due to which the cabin space will be quite good.

• VinFast Limo Green will also be strengthened in terms of security. It is expected to get basic but important safety features like 4 airbags, ABS and electronic parking brake. Although the company has not yet clarified whether it will include ADAS or not, but the focus is on presenting it as a safe and family-friendly car.

The Vietnam version has a 60.13 kWh battery, about 450 km range, 198 bhp power and 280 Nm torque. • This SUV has a 60.13 kWh lithium-ion battery, which gives a range of about 450 kilometers once fully charged. It has a 204 bhp electric motor and 280 Nm torque, due to which this car gives smooth and powerful driving experience. This SUV is based on front-wheel drive (FWD) system and has three driving modes – Eco, Comfort and Sport. According to the company, it takes only 30 minutes to charge from 10% to 70% with a fast DC charger. Considering the range and charging time, this SUV can be a great option for long journeys.

Luxury Features and Advanced Technology

• The interior of VinFast Limo Green has been specially designed keeping family comfort in mind. It has features like 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, digital instrument cluster and multi-zone climate control. Apart from this, safety features like rear camera, parking sensor, air purifier and ABS, EBD, hill-start assist are also available.

Launch timeline and price

• VinFast will first launch its VF6 and VF7 models in India in September 2025. After this, Limo Green can also be introduced soon. The company is planning to open 35 dealerships across the country by December 2025. It is estimated that the price of Limo Green will be between ₹ 18 lakh to ₹ 25 lakh (ex-showroom). If this happens, then this SUV can become a big challenge for MG ZS EV and Tata Nexon EV in the Indian market, especially for those customers who want to buy a premium 7-seater electric family car.
