BJP’s ally Apna Dal (S) in Uttar Pradesh has increased the tension of BJP before the UP cabinet expansion. Anupriya Patel’s party has demanded one more seat in the cabinet. Apna Dal (S) has demanded one more ministerial post in the UP cabinet expansion. Currently, only one Ashish Patel from Apna Dal (S) quota is a cabinet minister in UP. Let us tell you that Apna Dal (S) has a total of 13 MLAs in UP.

Actually, this demand has come when the churning is going on regarding the expansion of the cabinet in BJP in the state. BJP national general secretary Vinod Tawde is in Lucknow since Sunday. He has talked to more than a dozen leaders and ministers. Whereas on Monday Tawde also met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Use of power of Apna Dal(s)

In fact, Apna Dal (S) has sought a place in the cabinet as part of a well-thought-out strategy. Now less than a year is left for the assembly, in which he will also woo his MLAs. Besides, there will be pressure on BJP regarding seats in the elections. Right now only Ashish Patel is a minister. Along with this, party leader Anupriya Patel has also questioned the government several times regarding the issues of backward classes.

Signs of cabinet expansion soon in BJP

On the other hand, there has been doubt in the Bharatiya Janata Party regarding cabinet expansion for a long time. There was talk of expansion earlier after the Lok Sabha elections. But the situation still remains the same. Now elections are very close so BJP can change many faces to please everyone. Apart from this, a new team of the state organization also has to be formed. For this, State President Pankaj Chaudhary had met Vinod Tawde on Sunday. This is a clear indication of the National General Secretary and the State President suddenly discussing with the leaders and ministers. A big change will soon be seen in the state.
