I have become a minister for the first time, but have old relations with politics – Deepak Prakash

Deepak Prakash said that he is not new to politics. Since childhood, I have been watching my father Upendra Kushwaha working among the public. He said that he has got the responsibility of ministerial post for the first time. Upendra Kushwaha said that his party has been weakened earlier also due to the divisions among the MLAs and MPs. He reminded that three MPs from his party had won the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, but later two MPs switched to another party. This had a deep impact on the strength and credibility of the party. Similarly, two MLAs of his party had won in the 2015 assembly elections, but both of them later left the party and joined other parties. Kushwaha said that such incidents broke the morale of the workers and weakened the organization.
