Sanjay Manjrekar said that Virat Kohli’s performance was not good in the 5 years before his retirement from Test, but he did not try to improve his technical and mental shortcomings. According to him, if Kohli wanted, he could have worked on these shortcomings and could have even sat out of the team for some time. The former cricketer said that he was more disappointed by the fact that Virat decided to leave Test cricket and continue playing in ODIs.
