Indian woman hand in usa: An Indian woman in the US Illinois was arrested in May for theft of goods worth $ 1,300 (about Rs 1.11 lakh) from the target store in May. This incident has come out through a bodycam video, which has now gone viral on social media. The video shows the entire process of stopping the woman and later arresting the woman.

Woman wandering in 7 hours store
A YouTube channel named ‘Body Came Edition’ uploaded this entire incident as an 18 -minute Vlog. Later, its small parts went viral on social media. In the video, an employee of the target store says that the woman roamed the store for about 7 hours, kept picking up the goods and then tried to get out of the West Gate without paying.

The woman repeatedly tells the police that she can pay now, but the police officer clearly says that now the time to pay, you have not paid before. ‘ In the video, the woman is taken to the police station wearing handcuffs. During interrogation, a female police officer says- ‘Is it not forbidden to steal things in India? I don’t think it is allowed to do so.

America’s warning- visa may be canceled
After the video went viral, a warning has been issued for Indian citizens in the US. US Mission India has said that if a foreign national commit theft, attack or other crime in America, then its visa may be canceled and will not be allowed to come to America in future.

Visa holders remain under constant surveillance
On July 12, the US embassy made it clear in another statement that the investigation continues even after getting the visa. He said- ‘Even after getting the visa, we constantly ensure that visa holders follow the US law and immigration rules. If they break the rules, the visa can be canceled and excluded from the country.

On July 15, the US State Department also reiterated in a statement that the visa can be canceled immediately if he is arrested for any serious crime such as attacks, domestic violence etc. in the US.

Government of India response- Follow law abroad
India’s Foreign Ministry (Mea) reacted to this matter and said that Indian citizens should respect the law there and maintain the image of the country.

External Affairs Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said- It is our constant appeal that whoever goes on foreign travel, follow the laws and rules there and maintain a positive image of India.

In 2025, 1,563 Indians from America so far
The Ministry of External Affairs also informed that in the year 2025, 1,563 Indian citizens have been submitted from the US so far. The spokesman said that a total of 1,563 Indians have been removed from the US since January 20.

Chinmay deore sues trump administration: An Indian student and three other foreign students in the state of Michigan, USA have filed a case in the court against the cancellation of student visa (F-1 status). These include Chinmay Devre of India, two students of China Jiangay Bu and Qi Yang and Nepal’s Yogesh Joshi.

These students say that the US Homeland Department of Security (DHS) and the Department of Immigration (ICE) canceled their visa status without giving any information and without any correct reason. He said that his status in the SEVIS system, which is aware of international students in the US, was suddenly and wrongly eliminated. Therefore, he has now sued it in a federal court.

Know what is the whole matter

These four students who went to study in America have said in the court that their student visa was suddenly canceled, but before that they neither received any notice nor any reason. He says that he has not committed any crime nor violated the rules of immigration. He never joined any political activity. Students also said that some had only received small traffic invoices or warnings, but such cases cannot be considered as a reason to cancel the visa.

ACLU released a statement

The American Civil Liberty Union Michigan (ACLU) has said that this action of the government is wrong and illegal. In this case, ACLU lawyer Ramis Vadud said that such strict and wrong policies of the government not only affect the life of students but also tarnish the image of America’s education system.

He said that if such incidents continue, international students may be afraid to study in America later. ACLU said that such cases of visa sudden cancellation have been reported not only in Michigan, but also in states like New Hampshire, Indiana and California and similar cases have been filed there.

Questions are being raised on the policies of Trump administration

This case has come to light when thousands of international students studying in America are getting upset due to the strict immigration policies of the Trump administration. The visa of many students has been abolished without notice or they are getting notice to send them out of the country, which has posed a danger of staying in the middle. Students are afraid that they may be detained at any time or expelled from the country.
