A senior police officer said that this accident happened near Yalamanchili. Officials received information about the fire at 12:45 am on Monday. The police officer said that at the time of the fire, one of the affected coaches was carrying 82 passengers and the other was carrying 76 passengers. “Unfortunately, a body was found in the B1 coach,” he said.

Officials said that according to initial information, both the coaches were completely burnt to ashes. Senior railway officials have reached the spot and are monitoring the entire operation. For safety reasons, both the coaches have been separated from the train. A senior officer present at the spot said that the fire was very severe.
