Film producer-director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, who has made films on serious subjects like ‘The Delhi Files’ and ‘The Kashmir Files’, has expressed concern over the problem of increasing pollution.

In his latest post, he described the country as a hub of all kinds of pollution and termed the countrymen as frogs in slowly boiling water.

Vivek Ranjan wrote on his Instagram handle, “India has become a hub of all types of pollution – air, sound and eye. Pollution has now become the wallpaper of India. We see it every day, but ignore it. We have now started living with it.”

He took the help of the famous frog example. Vivek wrote, “A frog put in cold water does not react immediately when the water is slowly heated. By the time the water becomes completely hot, the frog is so weak that it cannot even jump. We are the same frog. We did not choose to jump, we have learned to adjust. Slow poisoning seems easier to tolerate than sudden change.”
